This is a nice little shop with amazing dress selections and seemingly amazing help. I found my dress here in March 2021 and am still in love with it and would not have changed wearing it on my wedding day for anything else. However, when we found and ordered the dress I was told that it would be ordered slightly too big just to make sure there was room, and it could be brought in from there. That made sense to me! Then when my actual dress came in and I did my try on, I was told that the fit was almost perfect and very minor alterations would needed to be done. I believe I was lied to as a coverup to the mistake that my dress was ordered in WAY too big for me. In fact, when my seamstress (not from the boutique) first saw my dress, she told me I was absurd for not refusing the dress at my try on, though I was made to believe that the fit was almost perfect at that time. To give you an idea of how much larger it was than me… I am a size 16/18 and my dress is a size 24. Now, I understand that dress sizes vary based on the brand, and that it is better to run a bit larger rather than too small, but the dress size compared to my actual size was absurd. And the major alterations needed made for some kinks in the dress that simply couldn’t be worked out. I hate to think that I originally was going to pay the boutique’s seamstress good money to fix the issues that were their own fault from the beginning. Ultimately, this is a lovely shop with amazing choices… from first glance. This was the first place I shopped for my wedding dress. It just wasn't a great experience. I went with my mom and bridesmaids. Right away I was disappointed when the lady just pointed to the racks and told us to look around. She asked for my size then repeated it loudly several times even though I didn't really want that shared with the entire store. The selection wasn't great. Instead of a fun, momentous occasion, it just felt awkward. The lady never said anything complimentary about me in any of the dresses. But when I tried on one I liked ok, I think she could tell this was the one I was most positive about. I felt a little pressured to settle for this dress. She used my time frame to make me doubt if I could find anything else. Like if I didn't order that dress right then there was no way I could get it for my wedding. I love the atmosphere of the boutique! Wendy is extremely talented and listens to everything you want and don’t want in a dress. I found my wedding dress here and I thought I was going to walk out without it and Wendy kept me calm and positive the whole time!
