High Rise Bakery is an absolute treasure for downtown Jeff City! The inside is cozy with the gorgeous wood floors and all the smells and sounds of a big city coffee shop! The main floor seating goes the length of the shop and leads to more charming loft seating upstairs! From upstairs, you can look down and watch patrons coming and going while the baristas fill their orders! They also have patio seating when you want to take it outside to enjoy a cool fall breeze or summer sun!!

The food is top notch! They put a gentle yet creative touches on traditional brunch dishes! Their chicken salad is to die for! I definitely recommend trying the avocado toast with a chi latte! The combo is perfection!!! The beverages are abundant with many options to be tailored to your every need!

The staff were very kind, accommodating, patient and eager to help w any decision you may have!! The wonderful people preparing the food are fast and efficient while making sure every dish is perfect!!

This is definitely my new favorite place!! 5/5 would recommend stopping by, take a moment to relax while enjoying your beverage and or food! You’ll find yourself immersed by warmth that only a downtown coffee shop/bakery...

I wont remove my stars, but I should. I came back and was disappointed by the changes. The location will no longer service my need for future returns. They have discontinued many items and stop serving food after 1pm. In the words of the cashier "we specialize in disappointment". It was nice while it lasted, but as with most businesses in JC, they come and go.

Previously... Extremely cute space for downtown Jefferson City. I wish there were more trendy boutiques here. I do wish HRB had a larger menu bc I come so much. The Tacos are definitely worth $13, choose scrambled eggs for your side and add them to the juicey steak chunk tacos! Grab a $2.50 Iced Americano and try it with oatmilk. It has a refreshing "clean" taste.

I have not cared for their drip coffee choices, which is a bummer bc I like to sit and enjoy a refillable cup of Joe. All of the options I have tried have been sour (maybe its their machines?).

Great customer service. Even when a mistake has been made, they were very pleasant to correct it. This is what bring me back!

Support local and...

One of the single most amazing meals I have ever had anywhere. I had the Croque Madame. The bread was unbelievable. The fries are among the best I've ever had.

My partner had the rabbit hash. When do you get to have well cooked rabbit you don't need to shoot and prepare for yourself at this price point? Not to mention the truffle hollandaise. Most hollandaise you find in Cafe's comes from a box. This is the real deal (emulsified egg yolks, lemon juice, and oil). I am not usually a fan of truffle oil but this was amazing. A Unique and delicious menu for very reasonable prices. I'll be aiming for this standard when I make rabbit and hollandaise for myself in the future.

Shout out to our barista Justin. You did and incredible job with menu suggestions and made us want to come back for the service as well...

I will definitely be back! I went to High Rise for brunch today and really enjoyed my experience. The staff was friendly, the food was good and my latte was both beautiful and delicious! I took away one star because the gravy for my biscuits and gravy tasted kind of like a hollandaise sauce instead of gravy. I appreciate that they don’t mix sausage into their gravy though. Also, the bathrooms were extremely clean. I really dislike using unisex bathrooms because they’re usually gross, but I was pleasantly surprised by how spic and span these were. Overall I had an exceptional experience and think this place is a total gem! I highly recommend checking High Rise Bakery out!

Was excited to try this new coffee shop I added to my list about 6 months ago. There is a small menu, but they do it very well. I got the breakfast sandwich and hubs got the chorizo burrito. Both were delicious, and the chorizo was cooked really well and was not greasy! My fav is a Peppermint Mocha at Christmas. Theirs has dark chocolate, marshmallows and crushed peppermints on top.i live the way they did the inside. The original brick, plywood floors and loft for extra seating were great ideas. They have amazing looking pastries and I can attest the blackberry homemade pop tart was delicious. Everyone was great and we had excellent service. Great experience all around.
