Birds I View — Local services in Jefferson City

I stopped in to get an ant moat (to keep ants out of my bird feeders!) and the people here were very friendly and helpful. They had the moat I needed (and for cheaper than Amazon), and also gave me advice about attracting birds to my birdbath. This store accepts credit and debit cards, but gives a 3% discount if you pay with cash or a local check. In addition to all the bird supplies, they have gifts for bird-lovers, such as coffee mugs and gourmet snacks ("Eat while you watch your birds eat", haha). They had free samples of some of their snacks-for-people (which looked delicious), and when I passed on that they encouraged me to go check out a (wonderful!) café that just opened next door. They seem to be experts on feeding both birds...

What an amazing shop. Steve and Regina are just so kind and welcoming. And they not only know so much about our native birds, they also deeply care and help teach people coming in. I also appreciate the fact that they test products. When it comes to poles for mounting, they have different hardware for different pole styles so you can protect your nest boxes and feeders.
