We went to strikers to celebrate Father’s Day. I tried calling to reserve two lanes for our party but the line just continued ringing with no answer. I tried a different number linked on the website, but got the same result. Luckily, they weren’t too busy and we were able to walk in and get two lanes. Our lane continued to have maintenance issues. No staff members noticed we had put in a call for help for a number of minutes. We eventually went to the front desk and they sent for maintenance. Our lane continued to break down and we were eventually moved to a lanes. They gave us an additional 10 minutes to make up for the time we lost waiting which we appreciated since the lane costs per hour.
Facility is very nice and clean. Food was pretty good—but expensive. Around $10-15 per plate. Kids meals are also $10 but include a $5 voucher to use in the arcade. Arcade was fun—but expensive. It takes 4 credits on average per game, so the money goes fast! Everything gets loaded on a card, including the tickets you win. Lots of choices for prizes in the prize room.
Bowling was fun but (again) expensive. $4.50 to rent shoes (for an hour, mind you) is way too steep. You also have to pay per hour for a lane ($30 per lane). It cost my family of four $50 to bowl for a hour. With two toddlers and two adults, we got through one full game and a few frames of a second game. Too expensive to visit more than once or...
Read moreVery crowded. Way overpriced. Went to attend A birthday party for a young family member. Arrived to our reserved table 15 minutes early so we could decorate for the party to find it was in use by a family eating a meal. There was no reserved sign so we found a staff member to inquire about our reservation and immediately caught attitude. The staff member told us that the table was not available to use until the family was finished with their meal. We mentioned that we were assured on the phone that we could arrive a bit early to decorate and prepare for the guests to arrive at 2. So we all sat the at the next table with the party stuff and waited until the family was finished. Party guests began to arrive and joined us as well waited. Finally the family finished up and we waited for someone to clean up the area. By the time we were able to start preparations the guests had started arriving and they had to stand around and wait for us to finish. We basically had to throw everything together and it wasn't what we had envisioned when we spent a lot of money for decorations. We felt frustrated and stressed out for the entirety and several of the guests commented on the prices being too high for literally everything. We only were given 2 lanes to use for the large group we had and most people didn't even get a chance to bowl Overall, it was a negative experience in every aspect and no one...
Read moreWe had a good time until we were done. Some teenage kid employee was lurking before our time was even up. I was there with my 80+ year old parents and my tween kids. The SECOND the timer went off to indicate that our time was up, two young boys were right there hovering over us as we literally took 2 minutes to gather our stuff up. He is grabbing our drinks moving them on to some counter nearby, moving our phones. My wife was in the bathroom, the moment the timer went off and he’s asking me about what to do with my wife’s stuff. Well, he’s obviously never been in a relationship because I don’t have any more idea than the man on the moon what my wife wants done with her stuff. There was not even anyone waiting for our lane. It was 8:30 on a Thursday night.
I mean, why? What on earth is the point of this. I mean if you really need to turn the lane over that fast make the rentals for 55 minutes, 1 hour 25 minutes etc. to give you and the customer 5 minutes to grab their phones and shoes and drinks. This is the last impression you want to leave with people? Making them feel like they need to rush away. And we didn’t even know where to go set with our half finished drinks.
People remember how you make them feel and you made me feel like I was in your way after spending $200 at your establishment. And some $20 gift card doesn’t fix that. ...
