Pho Le 777 — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

This is the BEST pho place in Chicago. It’s even better than anything in the CA Bay Area. Better than I’ve ever had in London, Bangkok, Tokyo or Paris, better than NYC, better than Scottsdale phoenix area. (I’ve never been to Vietnam so I can’t vouch for that) It’s literally the best pho I’ve had in my entire life. I don’t say this lightly. I’m amazed it’s here. I’m so lucky! I want everyone to go here and keep them in a thriving business. Their pho makes overrated Argyle street blush. They make the REAL DEAL. The house special is out of this world. I can’t have gluten anymore so I can’t have the banh mi…. But it looked right and smelled right and my bf said it was amazing. It. Toasted. French bread was clearly fresh. Service started out good, but decline after receiving our food. I didn't get a water refill and I had to drink my girlfriend's water. Literally not a busy place. The pho is good, but my problem was the small portion for the large bowl $14 and $13 for the small bowl. Other pho place offer better portion for this amount of money. Not much of a difference just order a small and beware of black pepper added already. Eggroll was good nothing special, but better than the spring roll. Spring roll was okay, but there was too much noodle and lettuce, and very little meat (pork and shrimp). Roast pork Banh mi was okay. The bread use for the banh mi was excellent. Crisp and soft to eat and not chewy to the point where you need a jaw replacement to eat it. By far the best banh mi bread I have ever had. The meat portion was good, but taste of overbearing burnt crispy pork skin just ruin this banh mi. The veggies portion was small, but bearable. Overall this...

i have been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally i did today. Pho is absolutely delicious, broth is flavorful, probably best i ever tried! loved it. Also had the egg rolls - same thing, delicious!!! Definitely coming back and recommend! Another day, and i decided i need to try smth else. Let's start with me not being able to say "NO" to the egg rolls, they are simply delicious. I ordered Grilled Lemongrass Bahn Mi - very good, tasty, well seasoned pork, fresh herds - all ingredients worked well together. And the main dish - Beef Stew(Bo Kho): i must say it's delicious, broth is so rich and deep in flavor, really good. the only thing i must admit is that i expected a bigger portion for the price. Overall i coudn't finish all of the food I ordered, but i wish the stew was either cheaper or a bigger portion, otherwise - awesome!
