El Dorado — Local services in Jefferson Township

Update: The store owner's reply to my comment is ridiculous. My sister and sister-in-law were all in the store and witness to the interaction. We were all shocked by how the employee treated us. I have a hard time believing the store has audio recordings of the store since most security is just a camera and cannot possibly get every angle. DO BETTER El dorado. You lost 3 customers in this interaction and several other comments note the poor customer treatment. Instead, how about focusing on improving customer experiences?

The store has some really good stuff and is affordable. But the staff is SO rude. We were yelled at for having 2 people in the fitting room when I was helping my sister get a dress zipped up. There is no sign saying one person per room and even still saying kindly, “please only have one person per room” is totally acceptable. We weren’t trying to break rules. But to yell at customers as if we are blatantly braking rules is so unprofessional. She watched us like hawks as if we were trying to steal?! Very strange behavior from staff. Won’t be...

I have visited here a few times. The first time I didn't understand the pricing as I thought it was too good of a deal. The sign near the front, has the colors (of the tag) and prices assigned to that color. Had I understood that the first couple of times, I'd have loaded up. I'm kicking myself for not asking the employee! It may be just me, but I found some great items every time! My friend who was visiting me, also did as well. She ended up with 2 gently used designer handbags, beautiful sunglasses and a bag full of really nice clothes all for under a $100! It's also a really nice looking, very clean, organized store, good music playing in the background and super nice staff. I'm waiting for it to open right now to hopefully scoop up some more...

I used to like this place because of the good deals and unique findings but not anymore. This place has gone downhill every since COVID, fist of all some of the girls that work there seem to select who to greet and who not to greet and completely ignore the Hispanic customers which is astonishing to me since they look Hispanic themselves. But if that’s how they want to be okay whatever. Another huge thing about this place they are ripping people off, jeans that are from department stores like mashalls and tj Maxx are being priced as the same value as them and they just ripping off the original tag.
