They were very kind when I arrived 6 mins before the 4:30 opening. They allowed me to sit, drink water, and review the menu until they opened. Everyone was so friendly, and my waiter was attentive and sweet. I ordered the shrimp shumai, Thai lime iced tea, and the trio poke bowl. I am honestly surprised by how reasonable things are priced. $5.95 - $6.00 for an appetizer is reasonable by today's standards. $16 for a packed poke bowl with a ton of fresh fish is absolutely a wonderful value. The bowl is loaded with sushi rice and fish, the sauce is perfectly portioned and adds a nice balanced flavor, loved the edamame, spring salad, and cucumber salad topping as well. Everything was so delicious. I really enjoyed the tea. It was a balanced sweetness. The only thing I'd do differently is order a full cucumber salad and a side of ginger. We went on their soft opening and were their first customers! Logan doesn’t have many sushi options so we were super excited for Lucky Trendy to open. We got a Ramune & thai iced tea which was amazing! Definitely get it- even if you are not normally a tea person. For apps, we got the takoyaki & spicy edamame. Takoyaki was fresh and very flavorful! For rolls we got: Rollin special roll, Monster roll, Sumo roll & Shinjuku. Shinjuku was probably the most unique with deep fried salmon & tempura onion on top! But all rolls were fresh and really good. The number of pieces depended on the roll so I would ask your server if you are wanting bigger or smaller roles. Overall a really solid neighborhood spot! The sushi was affordable and still quite good. Good appetizers as well. Food was slow to arrive during peak hours but hopefully they’ll work that out over time. I’m glad this opened up and I look forward to returning.

I have two points against it: first, the spicy salmon and spicy tempura rolls had hardly a suggestion of spiciness. I’d really like those to be hotter.
