I had an old rocker that needed some serious TLC! The chair had damaged cane and a horribly repaired arm. Now the chair looks fantastic and you'd never know there was any damage to the arm. It rocks quietly and feels sturdy again.

I also had an antique gate leg table restored and it looks better than new. The table had many scars, scratches, and burn marks. The old finish was almost black in color and now it looks better than new and you can see the beautfiul wood grain. I could not be happier. Pete even gave renewal and life to the terribly beaten up feet. So many years and so many people gave them a hammered look. Nice they are smooth again. WOW!!!

Pete restored my grandmother’s bedroom furniture (about 100 years old). I cried when he brought it back it was so beautiful!!! The two-tone finish was just as I remember it as a child. He copied broken scroll work to perfection. He recreated broken spindled feet. (Note: I do not know the professional terms for these things) He cleaned the back of the etched mirrors. (How he did that without breaking them boggles my mind.) On top of that, I was quoted a price of $3600 and when all was said and done, I was charged only $2800. Over the last year and a half Pete tackled a dozen pieces that were damaged, some extensively, in a house fire. Several of these were one of a kind custom built items. The results have been amazing. He really cares how it will look in your home when it's done and gets the details right. He came up with some very creative ways to salvage a couple of the items.
