Now let me tell you all of the details about this school. It is horrible whatever you do don’t sign up save yourself the trouble and headache.
Over the summer only 3 students graduated with a starting class of at least 75 …. These are facts no one will tell you at admissions.
They treat you extremely nice showing the amazing lab …you will receive absolutely no supplies to practice with but every semester wether or not you use the lab they will charge you a lab fee and the fee seems to be going up every semester.
Also when your professor teaches you there is NO HANDS ON PRACTICE. It’s just show you one time Quickly and then a test…… No practice to prepare for when it really matters the most.
They will lock you out of your account to submit assignments and complete exams notify professors about your bill and tell them to not let you into class if you’re late. They will put the payment plan into 3 payments instead of 4 like most colleges do( this makes your monthly payment higher then what it should be)
Most colleges will not let you register for the next semester if you owe a bill not this college though they will stop you in your tracks mid semester …. No sense of security for the student everything is about what benefits the company not the students.
They have professors who show videos and then give you an exam on something completely different and no one holds them accountable.
These professors will talk to you like crap ….. scream at you embarrass you if you don’t kiss their you know what it’s exhausting and it wears you down.
The tuition can come out to over 80k or better please don’t be tempted by the quick start dates don’t do it I beg you…. It seems easier but it would give you he’ll go to a CUNY/ state school because unfortunately a lot of the private nursing schools are the same but this school takes the crown for being about money and students are disposable
I can keep going the program is an ADN it’s 24 months when you sit with admissions they will tell you it’s 19months and “accelerated” this is a trick to overwhelm you with classes so that you have no choice to repeat the class and take it over again which means more money for them….. once again even an accelerated program will have 8 week courses with maybe 2 courses at a time but nope this school will give you 6/7 classes simultaneously for 16 weeks and if you get under an 80 for their nursing program you fail and you have to repeat
You can only fail once the second time you fail you are out of the school. More reason to look elsewhere most colleges have a minimum passing score of 75%.
If you sign up after this post it’s on you but you’ve been warned. This is not even to be funny but no one who puts their hard work time money and effort should have to experience what we as...
Read moreI just want to start off by saying not one student passed the health assessment class summer semester 2024. I attended this school for nursing for 2 semesters and it literally was the WORST THING EVER. First none of the teachers actually teach to teach they all just read off of their slides, none of them are supportive of their students. I heard them say withdraw from the program if its to hard or you don't get it rather than reach out to us so we can help you. This school is so money hungry its actually sick. They try and make it very hard for you to pass just so they can have you repeat the class. My peers that were already LNP'S taught me how to take vitals, they would literally just show us a youtube video then assess us on the topic of the week no further train no real hands on just video then assessment. Professor Dario was absolutely disgusting, he did not teach us AT ALL. He took our 50 min class to scream to the top of his lungs at us and go over the syllabus and tell us everything were not doing right he would call us "dumb nursing students" and would blame his outburst on "him being on his period" which really offended me because he has no period. Professor Sherif Guirguis made my A&P 2 experience extremely uncomfortable for me, singled me and 2 other students out during test, instead of proctoring the entire class and when I spoke to him about it he was extremely dismissive to his actions, I mentioned to him how i never left the browser during his quizzes or exams (which he could see) that didn't matter to him. The people that he knows left never got watched like i did he would stand right behind. I learned more for my clinical teacher who was new to the school her name is Dr. Mathews. Overall one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered, they took my joy out of nursing school. Best decision I've made was to go to a different school and even with that decision they made it very difficult for me to get my transcript, i can go on and on but i just HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Please when considering going to any type of school really do your research for situations like this to be prevented. I wouldn't even give this school one star. LAST THING: Even the security guard was super rude and had a disgusting attitude (he's Haitian and short, the one with the glasses was so kind and very helpful always) I definitely see them either getting sued again or just...
Read moreMake sure you do your research before you decide on going to this school. I went to this school in 2015. They stated at the time that they were fully accredited and when myself and an attorney looked into them, they were not. They only care about your application if you have money to go here. They'll pass you right up until the last semester. These credits don''t transfer so if you're the 70 percent whom they fail, you'll be forced to pay the loans back without a job. I had to leave the program because I was the survivor of an ex who brutally attacked me and almost unalived me and I couldn't concentrate. I reapplied a few years later, and when I sat to have a meeting with their boards the entire time their boards sat in front of me and attempted to humiliate me and victim blame me in regards to what happened to me. It was one of the most humiliating things I was ever forced to sit through next to being ripped apart during my trial. I almost ended my life due to the horrendous things their board said to me. But God had a different plan. I ended up graduating with an engineer degree instead from a reputable school. But I felt like my mission wasn't complete. I decided I wanted to take what happened to me to help improve the lives of others and help women like me so I decided I wanted to go to law school. Be very careful reading the contracts they make you sign. They try to make themselves not liable for their shady behavior. Lots of my former classmates tried to sue them and couldn't. They held my transcripts hostage and I was forced to pay 2000 for them. They refused to respond to my emails and phone calls when I vocalized my frustration until I contacted the department of education, the department of treasury as well as 5 other departments overseeing them. Unprofessional cowards. But you know what? I just got back from the supreme court two weeks ago surrounded by the most brilliant minds in law, and I just got accepted into one of the best law schools in Florida. God has a plan. And it was the people at this college and what I went through with my life almost ending that made me want to be an attorney. Businesses like this one with shady practices need to be brought to justice and healthcare professionals like the ones on this board need to be investigated and stripped of their licenses. Do your research when you're looking...
