Ordered over the phone for Christmas Eve and had a great experience. Food pick-up was seamless and it was a pleasant transaction. The food, especially the holiday ham, was good. Today, I had wanted to place another order for New Year's Eve even if the store was far from our location because our initial experience was great. Unfortunately, I encountered unprofessional customer service. The woman on the phone who originally took our order was helpful. However when I had a question about an item on my list, she had to give the phone to another woman. Her voice was familiar. I picked up the Christmas order and she took the payment from me then so I was able to place a face to the voice on the phone. I had wanted a simple clarification, but she made it seem like I wasnt smart enough to understand her answer. I was taken aback, but at no point raised my voice nor returned the same discourtesy. As mentioned earlier, I found her to be a different person last time. So I respectfully restated the question to finalize the order. She then suggested that I stop asking over the phone, and simply drive to the store location to get clarification. Maybe she was having a bad day? Was it because I spoke Filipino so she knew I wont disrespect an elder? But these cant justify the way she dealt with a customer, right? I thought the negative reviews here were unfounded, but I was proven wrong. Anyway, as I was about to finalize everything despite the uncertainty of one item, she then gave me the total she would charge to my card. I asked why it was different from what appears on their website, and she again in a rude manner stated that the information online is old and to just not place the order if I have questions about it. I then respectfully said I'll inform my mother about the price change, but she just abruptly dropped the call. It was a really horrible customer experience. It soured my initial experience at the store (the only reason why I'm still giving them 2 stars). I didnt expect to experience rudeness from any store during the merriment of the holidays, but most definitely didnt expect to get it from a Filipino...
Read moreThey serve the best empanadas that I have ever tasted and it is made fresh! They also serve a wide variety of other Filipino delicacies such as suman, sans rival, pork blood soup, different types of breads, rolled cakes of different flavors, Maja Blanco, and many more. Plants are sold at the front of the store and there are seating arrangements if you want to sit and relax to enjoy a meal. I learned the hard way of purchasing a baked good off the shelf and not checking for the expiration date or thoroughly examining the product for signs of expiring because as soon as I got home from ordering four mango tarts two of them were growing mold spores. All in all, it is a great place to visit with several types of foods to...
Read moreI always ordered catering food here, not the best but convenient. Recently I inquired and expected the price on the website was incorrect as it wasn't updated, the problem is last couple of weeks that I called the price keep going up within 2 weeks! They just make it up and justify it by saying the price on the website isn't updated but to increase from my first call to the last (all within 2 weeks!) When I called the lady over the phone, she just hung up! Needless to say I went somewhere else. Ang sungeeeet!!! Ganyan din ugali if you shop in store!!!
