Lot-Less — Local services in Jersey City

This store needs to be closed ASAP!! A week ago, I bought a $100 espresso machine. The employee told me that anything that was expensive could be returned. Knowing this, I bought it with the fact that I would be able to return it if anything. When I got home and tried to assembled it, it didn’t work. Some of the parts were broken and whatnot as well. I went through so many tutorials but it refused to work. When I went back to the store, they told me that I couldn’t return it. When I told them an employee told me I could (my sister could vouch for me because she was there as well), they still refused me. I went home and $100 drown the drain. This is unacceptable because they lied and sold me an inefficient item. The employees were very rude as well. Such a horrible experience. I bought a hooded sweatshirt at Lot-Less on John F Kennedy Blvd. I tried on the sweater and realized that it was too tight, when I tried taking off the sweater the tag came off. I tried to get the sweater exchanged anyway, even though the tag came off because I know I didn’t wear it, it was simply too tight for my liking. When I got there the manager refused to exchange the sweater, I knew she automatically assumed that I wore it. She tried to explain to me that she can’t exchange the sweater because the tag wasn’t attached to the sweater. I knew that was a load of crap, I worked in retail for over 25 years, I was an Operations Manager for a large retail company, so I knew she was judging me. I left the sweater right there in the store and told her to throw in the trash. I will never spend my money...

The have alot of good things here to buy but there were two workers who made me uncomfortable while I was there a guy I believe that his name is serg or something along those lines . He threatened to put his hands on me .. he threatened to hit me and of course another girl came in and said I was being rude to him which I wasn't . So I'm going to report them asap. Mary Ann refused to tell me their names when I asked . I told her what happened and she refused . Don't go to this store unless you want to be followed around and harassed...
