I want to share a few things about my time practicing with Ana -- and reflect on some of the other reviews I've seen here, as I think it's worth noting some of what was mentioned: I booked 5 lessons and a road test with Ana. I was really, incredibly anxious to be on the road, as I had a tough time passing my road rest when I was younger. Ana was calm and confident I could pass from the start of my time with her, and it really put me at ease. I was able to build up my confidence with driving, and in time, felt ready to take my test. Ana set up her lessons with a keen eye for exactly what you need to know to take the road test -- including easy tips for parallel parking, the K-turn and going in reverse. What I really valued is that she let me drive around some of the toughest spots in Jersey City. This helped me feel prepared to take my test in Newark. What I appreciated most about working with Ana is that she really cares about what she does & seeing her students pass. She calmed me when I was nervous, got excited when I did well, and celebrated with me when I passed. For those who have negative things to say about her needing to eat or take a break during lessons -- shame on you. Ana works her butt off. I never minded if she needed to make a stop because we had ample time in the car. I always felt like I got a great lesson in when we met, and she knew EXACTLY what was on the road test. She even took me to my test site before the test so I could get an understanding of the roads and what to expect. To start I wish I could give her a 10☆+ review. My experience with smart driving school has been the best. I took my route test yesterday and of course I passed. Ana helped me so much since day one. She is really caring and passionate about her jobs. Classes times may vary but it's highly understandable because she has so many students and some times the route test take too long (I took my test in Newark and the wait it's bad) but that doesn't have to do with her. So sometimes she might find herself having to change your class schedule. Please understand🙏 I could not believed I parked the first time she show me. Her tips are so helpful and easy to understand just make sure you are well rested when taking a class with her is so important. She took me to Newark to see the course a day before and even the day of my test too. One of the reviews before the lady mentioned Ana only took her to Newark and that was it. I'm a witness that Ana tried to show her the course and she too busy on the phone because I was right next to her and I told her this is what we are doing and she didn't pay attention. Another thing we pay Ana to give us tips and to take us to the test. At no moment Ana is supposed to wait for you to finish at the DMV she has more students waiting to take their route test.
