Fraudulent Double Charges by Trans World Travel (New Jersey, NJ)
I am writing to share my deeply disappointing experience with Trans World Travel regarding duplicate charges made to my credit card for a flight purchase. I booked a ticket to Morocco. Shortly after, I needed to change my travel date, and an exchange ticket was issued with the fare difference.
Unfortunately, upon reviewing my credit card statement, I found that Trans World Travel had charged me twice for the original ticket, in addition to the correct amount for the updated ticket. Despite this clear error, and despite my repeated calls, emails, and submission of all relevant documentation (receipts, ticket numbers, and correspondence), the agency has failed to resolve the issue for over a year now.
It is unacceptable that I have been charged for a duplicate transaction and have been forced to pursue this matter with no resolution in sight. Trans World Travel has been unresponsive and has yet to refund the unauthorized charge.
I strongly advise others to be cautious when booking with this agency, as my experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I am now turning to external assistance to seek the refund that I am entitled to after more than a year of attempting to resolve...
Read moreI am absolutely appalled by the level on unprofessionalism that this company exhibits. They are by far the absolute worst people I have ever dealt with. How can a company make such a huge mistake and deny their error. I am not one to call out businesses, as I am a business owner and would hate for someone to do this to me, but they are pure filth and should not be running an operation. They have no curtosey or ability to provide customer service. They are a bunch of liars who created an elaborate lie to cover up their error. My father booked us tickets to go to Egypt and they errored on the return date for my friend. When she went to airport, they were unable to locate her flight back, only to reason that the travel agency booked her return back in 2020. When the dispute was occurring, the travel agent told the credit card company that Ingy is a doctor and was traveling to Egypt for work and decided she did not like Cairo and wanted to come home early. I’m not sure why anyone would go through such lengths to make up a lie and not own their mistake. What a terrible company. No one should ever book with them ever. Trans World Travel you are a terrible operation and Mohamed the travel agent is the rudest person I have ever spoken to in my life....

THEY NEEDED MY CREDIT CARD INFO TO CHARGE THE FARE, SO THEY FAXED ME THE AUTHORIZATION FORM SO QUICK, WOW, VERY SPEEDY TO TAKE YOUR MONEY, BUT LET YOU WAIT THE WHOLE DAY.. GO FIGURE I ASKED FOR THE RESERVATION INFORMATION, AND WAITED AND WAITED AND FINALLY AT 6PM TI GOT IT WITHOUT ANY PRICE INFORMATION, GO FIGURE. I DO NOT THINK THE LADY I WAS TAKING TOO HAD KEPT ANY OF HER PROMISES.. I AM NOT SURE BUT IT SEEMS VERY DISORGANIZED
