My partner brought the milk tea home as a surprise treat so I can't review the Service or Atmosphere but I can definitely say that their bubble tea was so delicious and the best I've ever had. If the other drinks are just as good this will definitely be our new favorite bubble tea place!
My boyfriend did comment that the wait time for the two drinks he ordered was long, about 20 minutes, but he felt it was worth it. This place is new so they're probably still finding their rhythm.
He also noted that while he asked for one of the lactose-free milks he saw the employee make mine with regular milk. It wasn't a big deal since lactose isn't a life or death thing for me so he didn't ask for the drink to be remade. The tea surprisingly didn't bother my stomach like other lactose products so that was a huge bonus.
We tried: Earl Grey Black. This was my partner's drink so I could only steal a big sip but it was strong, not bitter. Exactly what I'd expect of a high quality tea. The sweetness level was perfect and the black sugar boba was exactly the right level of soft but chewy.
Taro Milk Tea. This was my drink. I'm not sure what sweetness level was requested but we tend to order bubble teas with 30-50% sugar and this drink was perfectly sweetened. The taro paste was real, not this artificially colored purple version that you'd get at other shops.
We will definitely be back! The location is easy to access since it is so close to the Journal Square...
Read moreBest milk tea I’ve maybe ever had, and I’m a frequenter of Tiger Sugar, Meet Fresh, Tsaocaa, etc. Was genuinely so surprised to see the bad reviews. Like even if this is somehow the opposite of your taste preferences, the staff were so kind and welcoming, noticing I was unfamiliar with the menu and clarifying.
And that’s before we even get into how delicious the drink is! Got a hot fresh coconut Taro Milk with pudding and I can NOT. My mom tried some of it and we have very different sweetness preferences but the magic of IMilky is just inexplicable I guess because we both found it absolutely delicious. Truly have never even heard of another place that does coconut taro but they more than pulled it off.
The pudding, too! So soft and silky and does not alternate between clogging up the straw and not even going into the straw literally every other pudding I’ve enjoyed. I cannot even explain the taste in English (for any other Viet speakers or there, divinely béo).

Read moreDRINKS [3/5]: We got a classic taro and brown sugar bubble tea. The flavors of the tea were pretty good (love that they have real taro!) but the boba was inconsistent. One glass had soft well cooked boba and the other was hard and difficult to chew. I think after some time to get in the swing of things they can be a good competitor to the tea shops in downtown. I'll definitely be coming be coming back.
SERVICE [4/5]: Service was fine but could use some improvement. We waited quite some time just to give our order after walking in even though there was...
