The equipment looks really old, this gym felt like a bit of a rip-off from the start, but the people were friendly and the hours were convenient so I signed up for a year contract. Big mistake. I decided to cancel after my year contract was up and was told that I had to send a letter to cancel and that I couldn't cancel in person. That's pretty shady and even worse the address they gave me to mail the letter to is THEIR ADDRESS! So why can't I just walk in and hand them the letter? They're trying to make cancelling as inconvenient as possible so they can keep charging my card. Buyer beware you must submit a certified letter informing the gym owner you wish to cancel your membership , Even though you can inform him face to face. He will keep charging your credit card or bank card until you send in a certified letter to his establishment . I find this extremely rude behavior. I asked this man numerous times to end my membership after my one year contract had ended , only to have him continue to charge my account. BEWARE !! This is stated in the fine print of the old school GYM contract...
