ZVI Nails & Spa — Local services in Jersey Village

This was my first time visiting this nail salon. My mom took me and she’s been serviced here about 4-5 times. This day we did have to wait about 20 minutes to be seen but to be fair they were pretty busy. They said 10 minutes but it was closer to 20 minutes. I got medium length white tips set with rhinestones and it was $66 total. Amy was my nail tech and she was nice. However, I told her I wanted clear powder on top and she kept trying to push me to get clear pink. I told her I don’t like pink and she kept saying it was just a little but I literally saw the clear in her basket and told her no I don’t like pink, I want clear. So maybe they shouldn’t push customers to get something they don’t like. I did end up getting clear though. My mom got a pedicure and it seemed like her experience went well. She got a complimentary coke and I didn’t want anything to drink at the time. The ambiance is nice and they do offer complimentary drinks including alcohol (wine). The seating is spaced out pretty well so that you’re not too close to other customers. While getting serviced they did get more busy which seemed good. They offer a points system if you login on the kiosk by the front desk. The restroom was clean and it smelled nice in the entire salon. I’ve been going to this salon for a few years. I started going when I worked down the street and continued because I liked the service. Last few times there have been new girls there and while it always hasn’t been a great experience I felt the need to leave a review. Saturday I went in with my daughter and a new girl took care me. As she was using the metal drill to work on the shape of the power, I told her multiple times that she was hurting me because she was running the metal bit over my skin. I had to pull my hand away and tell her to stop. She then argued with me that I was fine and my fingers were already like that. My fingers were not bleeding when I sat down. I didn’t want to cause a scene and allowed her to finish. The nails look like my 5 year old did them. Not shaped, missed half of my nail with the clear gel so it’s bumpy and looks horrible. All of them are lifting because they weren’t shaped correctly.

This will be the last time I go. I will have to go to another salon this weekend to fix them. Just because you hire a warm body that can work doesn’t...

When I say I’m a real reserved person when it comes to speaking with my nail tech but baby!!!!! I loved everything about this place. They aren’t just after your money for designs and the typical things us women seek when getting our nails done. I know I’m one who loves extravagant and this is it. I was so relaxed and they listened to my creative mind!!!😂💯 Y’all I recommend them to any and everyone. It’s really a good place no cap! They are very patient and humble spirited.
