Taqueria Arandas #43 — Restaurant in Texas

First things first.....I have found my new place for Horchata since moving!!! It is beyond good!! Please order it so one day you can tell your children you were there and partook of this heavenly brew!!

On to the food! One word! Delicious! The most surprising thing was that the fajita beef was extremely tender and really well seasoned. I don't get that often with a lot of places...kudos!! Next up...Nachos with any meat you want not it. Perfect and they taste delicious. The salsa and chips are free and very tasty but a little on the spicy side if you have no stomach for it. Not bad at all. This is cautionary for those with weak constitutions! Otherwise, great tacos and just a really solid choice for good Mexican food.

The staff are great and are very good at keeping up with you. This place is rarely crowded and for the life of me, I cannot understand why. Place is very clean and well kept including the bathrooms. There is even a coloring table for the kids and spaces for large groups. All that to say, this place is great and more people need to support this business and eat...

We were dissatisfied tonight with Taqueria Arandas Cypress TX 77429 Huffmeister at Fleur De Lis Blvd A because we sat down and we were asked what we'd like to have a drink but the waiter then never asked us what we would like to eat and they never brought our drinks at all so we left and we will never go back. They were unfriendly and not interested in the least if we enjoyed the visit. It was very disconcerting to be treated so poorly. I am appalled at the service we received. The experience was horrible. The practically non-English speaking waitstaff gave us -like- these dirty looks just as we walked in, what the hell!!??? We will NEVER return to this or any other of their restaurant branches. They lost a customer tonight and our social contacts, friends and Cypress posse will know that Taqueria Arandas has now been crapped on. I really can't even begin to imagine what happened to this place. The customer service, the food, the ambiance, and even the technical stuff like the sound system have just plummeted in quality. As long time customers of Arandas, we have seen the quality of the food go from delectable to abysmal, and the portions have become laughably small compared to what they were just a couple of months before. We understand all businesses change, but this has gone from a wonderful date spot to a sad spiral of barely passable mediocrity. Our enchiladas tonight were absolutley disgusting, covered in a thick, sour red sauce with our beans and rice having no flavor but disappointment. This experience has left a literal bad taste in my mouth and I will not be open to...
