Southern Maid Donuts — Restaurant in Texas

As much as I enjoy the products that this place sells. This morning I went through the drive thru and asked for the same item "Ham & Cheese croissant" that I have order for probably close to 10 years. A new employee that I have encountered once before took a Ham, Egg and Cheese croissant to the back and removed the egg from it. This had happened once before and I wrote it off as she was a new employee and gave her the benefit of the doubt. This time I took it back to her and explained to her this is not what I ordered. She proceeded to tell me I was wrong which shocked me that she would be so rude. I called over the lady that usually works the window and explained to her what happened and was only told she was new even though she witnessed her her being rude to a customer. This is so sad that she would be allowed to treat a long time...

Best donuts around huffmeister. If you catch them fresh off the frier there is something, dare I say, magical, about these donuts. Little fluffy golden orbs of cavity causing deliciousness. Service can be a little lacking but your getting a donut, so check your expectations. The kolache are fantastic, the ham and swiss are one of a kind and the boudin is a nice change from your normal sausage and cheese which are great as well.

Edit: they recently added a brisket kolache, which is pretty fantastic, it’s a little on the heavier side, you may only eat one, but like all things in life you just have to power through and...

I’m a regular customer at this location and the service has been great for years UNTIL this Hispanic woman started working there. She ALWAYS has an attitude, she’s never prepared to take orders and she’s disrespectful. I asked her why do I have to bag my items or have to ask her instead of her doing it being that IT IS HER JOB. She replied “ if I want stuff bagged, I should go to MC DONALDS” I can’t make this up‼️ I requested a REFUND. She’s nasty to customers and bringing the business down.
