For our anniversary and my wife's birthday, we went to Joyalukkas on November 16, 2024, to buy some jewelry for my wife. We purchased two earrings for our daughter and a diamond nose pin for my wife. During the selection of the nose pin, we noticed an untagged faulty one, which we avoided, but ended up picking a tagged one that resembled it. When we were billed, I noticed that the nose pin came in a box, but the earrings were packed in front of us, and we saw the tag being removed from them.
When we got home, my wife spent an hour trying to remove the old nose pin to try the new one. However, as soon as she took the new nose pin out of the box, it reminded us of the untagged faulty one, as it wasn’t fully screwed in. The screw wouldn’t turn in either direction, ruining the occasion. I immediately called the store to complain about the faulty item. Although they initially offered an exchange, they first suggested turning the screw in the opposite direction, without realizing it was already stuck at the 3/4 position. After a great deal of struggle, we finally managed to remove the screw, only to find that it was too large and not the correct one for the nose pin.
The manager then tried to blame us for not checking the screws when we received the item. He told us to come in the next day for an exchange. I arrived at the store after lunch the next day. After some time (and three people checking the issue and reporting to the manager), he finally addressed the situation. While I agree that validating and weighing the return product for fraud is necessary, the approach was too explicit and not appreciated.
I requested the nose pin box, but it was missing the untagged faulty one. Additionally, we could only find a nose pin that was one size smaller than the one I had originally purchased, which my wife didn’t like. Although they agreed to refund the price difference, it felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, as they could claim the difference was only $5. In the end, I asked for a full refund, and they complied. However, there was no apology or acknowledgment for ruining the occasion and making me drive an additional 50 miles. It was clear they treat customers differently based on the size of their purchase.
I don't feel like visiting again. Please double-check your purchases to avoid...

I am from Ohio and recently went to Atlanta to visit friends for Memorial day weekend. We were looking for Indian Jewelry stores & found Joyalukkas on google.
We planned to visit on Sunday. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the Manager & the sales representative Mrs. Ramani garu with warmth and professionalism, making me feel instantly welcome.
I cannot praise Mrs. Ramani garu, for her outstanding customer service, she took the time to listen carefully to what I was looking for, asking thoughtful questions to understand my wife interested styles and my budget. They even showed me different diamond collections, which helped me appreciate the craftsmanship.
What stood out most was Mrs. Ramani garu patience and genuine desire to help me find the right pairs or models, not just in a rush to make a sale. They presented a beautiful selection, offered honest opinions, and never pressured me into a decision. When my wife found the perfect pairs of earrings they handled everything with care, from sizing to ensuring the earrings was perfectly polished & made sure the fixtures are perfect and presented in an elegant box.
To top it off, Mrs. Ramani garu followed up with a personalized thank-you note, Warranty and care instructions which a classy touch that shows they truly value their customers.
Thanks to Mrs. Ramani garu what could have been a stressful experience turned into an enjoyable and memorable one. I’ll definitely be returning for future jewelry needs and highly recommend Joy Alukkas jewelers to anyone looking for exceptional service, great collection, Value for moneyand quality.

Read moreReally had bad experience post purchase. We got couple of gold necklace and one gold chain. During the purchase the Sales representative oversold the customer experience (Repair/Buy back) any where in the world. Unfortunately within 8 months of purchase the chain broke luckily it broke in our hands while trying to wear it on neck to my kid.
Firstly I have not seen a simple chain breaking so quickly especially when in the USA we wear it only during our Festivals and special occasions unlike India where we use it daily. So Poor quality.
I took the chain for repair, they told that they cant do anything without the receipt. I told you can find the details using my Driving license and phone number. there was a huge resistance and finally it taken up using my license. they initially said they have changed the software and cant find it but some how found it.
They took two weeks to repair and when I went to collect, the chain showed clear marks of incomplete repair. I told this is not acceptable repair and he need to fix it. Now the sales rep was telling this is such a small chain, very few grams; you cant expect it be strong etc. What I didn't like was the way they were trying to wash hands and were not bothered at all to take care of the customer. They didn't care how we felt. Completely opposite to our purchase experience. Honestly I have had multiple interaction in India with jewelers and contrary the post purchase experience has been fabulous even after years of purchase.
This kind of experience really shook my confidence in not just this branch but the entire company and false promises.
Any one please be careful and do not fall for...
