Taco Pros - Mexican Cocina (Suwanee) — Restaurant in Johns Creek

Located in a ssmall strip center off Peachtree Parkway is a great new taco joint located where the former Eggpholic used to be. Welcome to Taco Pros.

I went during their grand opening and was impressed. Clean interior and the music was at a level where conversation is quite easy. Some growing pains at the register but that’s to be expected with a business that has not been open even 24 hours.

I had 3 asada tacos and my wife had 2 chicken and a shrimp, all “Mexican Style” and on flour tortillas. All were flavorful and well balanced. I would have liked the tortillas to have been a little warmer but that didn’t take away from the overall food quality. Both hot and medium salsas were flavorful.

We also had a chile toreado (fried jalapeño) and a rice/beans combo. The jalapeño was hot and well seasoned with salt, as a proper chile toreado should be. My wife enjoyed her rice and beans. Instead of being mixed, they were served separated by a tortilla so you could enjoy them individually or mix them if you so prefer.

Service was good. You order and pay at the counter, and food is brought to your table. Food was delivered quick and with a smile. They also checked on us a couple of times.

A couple of refreshing things to note is that they DO NOT charge a credit card surcharge, nor is there the typical “It’s going to ask a quick question” (aka tip screen). They also have a Toast Rewards program that you can can get $5 credit for signing up and $10 for your birthday.

I recently visited Taco Pros, and even though they just opened, they are already delivering an excellent dining experience. The food was fantastic – fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Every taco was well-prepared and packed with taste.

The portion sizes were generous, which made it a great value for the price. You can tell they put effort into making sure customers leave satisfied.

The hospitality was outstanding. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and eager to ensure guests felt comfortable. For a brand-new restaurant, they already have the warmth and professionalism of an established spot.

Overall, Taco Pros is off to an amazing start. With their combination of great food, quality, quantity, and service, I can see them quickly becoming a local favorite. Highly recommend...

Picked up mexican style tacos and a torta from here. Quality of ingredients was good. Overall I would rate it good but not craveable/great. Was it the best in the area, probably not - but would it do in a pinch, definitely. Restaurant is neat with good seating but empty on a wednesday at dinnertime. Service was friendly. Menu is not extensive but has the usual tacos, tortas, burritos and protein bowls with a few regular and a few specialty options priced higher. Not as many options as some others in the area. There are also a few other items like nachos, quesadillas and churros for dessert. No salsa bar. The included red and green salsas were good. Pricing is on par with other mexican establishments...
