One star is one too many.
If you want 5 star insults by man agent…this is the store for you. 5 stars and it all due to Lorie…the most rude and unprofessional manager I have ever dealt with!!!
I was sent a survey by belk and the following is my exact feedback I provided:
I am not sure anyone will even read this but, I can assure you I will be calling about it and will be leaving a review online. You have a truly rude, argumentative and disrespectful manager named Lorie who shouldn’t work in customer service at all…little alone a management role. I myself am a business owner as I own my own law firm and staffing agency. I made two transactions and nit just one. First off your system had a glitch on a pair of shoes where it showed $15 as the total on your associates screen but $12 on card reader that shows the prices. The $15 was correct and I intended on and did pay that amount. But. I showed the young lady so that if you had a glitch it would be something you would need to fix. She wasn’t sure what to do so she called Lori over who number was one was obnoxious looking and speaking to me as if I was trying to get the shoes for $12 and I wasn’t. Now, it doesn’t matter what I drive or how much money I have or do not. But, I drive a BMW convertible and I have the money in my account to show my success in life. I do not know if her ego is so bad that she is resentful and quite frankly I do not care…business is business and she should be professional and not spiteful. My dog was in my car with the windows up for a reason…it is because my car was running with the air conditioner running so he could stay cool and his water was right beside him. Now, Lorie who claims she is doing due diligence asks when it was myself only at the register if anyone had a dog in their car. I told her he was mine and she said “Well that’s good because I was getting ready to call the authorities.” Did I take offense to this??? You bet I did because I love my dog just like my child and he has a life of luxury. While I can totally respect that mentality of making sure animals aren’t sweltering in a car, I cannot respect someone who takes that attitude and tone with me. I sssure you words were exchanged because she didn’t go to the car because “she couldn’t leave the actual store” to be absolutely accurate before laying an assumption out there just to be beyond petty proclaiming se kind of authority all while being…not appearing as an idiot. I cannot fix stupidity as she sound ge one of the first subjects I wound beg to be fixed. But, I can and I will share this on every site I can. People should be made aware of people representing Belk like this and go somewhere else to shop where customer service is actually shown. If I did this or my staff did this…I would be out of business. Your reviewsr online are terrible for this location …now I can see why and I will be added to that list. I can give you a piece of professional advice…get your house in order or watch your revenue fall further and further...
Read moreWent in belks heater on 4/2/2023. Found a Micheal Khors purse I liked. You could tell it had been crouch’s back. The tag was broken on it and it had stains on it. Well I noticed that is was saying that it was called the Marilyn and there was another purse similar to it called the same. So I took a picture and did a google revers surcharge on the purse. Come to find out it was actually called the Cynthia. So we took it to the Landry who was in that department and ask her about the price. Explain the situation and showed her it wasn’t that the tag that was on it. And showed her the stains. Well she started to give it to us for the price we showed her online at Micheal Khors for $172. Then she called her manager and explained the purse cause she was needing help in how to ring it up. Apparently while I was doing the search on the purse the words were told to my fiancé that this purse has been her Davy since it hit the store. Now the manager arrived. They told us to find the upc code for it and they could sell it to us. We did. Then the lady started to ring it up the manager gave her that look and they claimed the purse wasn’t purchased in that store. And they could sell it to us. My question is why did the plans change so quick when they say it had the tiger eye rings on it. Why did the plans even after thy told ia to find the ups code for it off Micheal Khors? You don’t do customers that way. Then tried to sell us another $350 purse. That was the one I wanted for my birthday. That was the one I liked. Why did they have to lie and claim they couldn’t sell it say it wasn’t sold from that store because of it wasn’t it wouldn’t have never been able to have been returned to them. It would have kicked it out of the system. I think the lady wanted for herself. Saw what price she could get it for plus her discount and that was that. Cause the words out of her mouth is that has been my favorite purse since it hit this store. How could it not have been from that store if it was her favorite purse since it hit the store. We were so upset cause our time was wasted and my birthday gift was taken from me. Poor customer service and loyalty. My fiancé has bought all my previous Micheal Khors and his cologne items from this belks but they lost our service...
Read moreOnly reason I'm giving a 3 is that we Didnt have the best visit around Christmas time pickup curbside is confusing it ended up costing me alot of time and more money on a item one of the cashiers knew I was buying online to pickup in store that day had she told me I wouldnt have been able to pick up till the next day (Christmas eve) I wouldn't have done it she knew I was ordering it and let me do it without saying a word me and my husband live an hour away so he had to get off work on Christmas eve at 5 in Greenville drive to jc to pick it up and they wouldn't let him bc it was in my name didnt Matter that he had the confirmation email or not so ended up rebuying it and it snowed ALOT he drove the hour home and we missed our family Christmas party other than that I've always had very nice experiences at this location and...
