So there is a small little place I call the great escape. Upon entering you are welcomed with a friendly face, yes depending the time you go there could be a queue to get in, but definitely goes quickly depending on the number of customers or medical customers are currently inside.
Always check the menu before leaving to make sure they have what you want in stock or to see what type of weekly/monthly deals they have going.
Usually &shine, rythem, ariez, ozone flower carts and extracts are on sale for a reasonable price for the quality and potency of THC/CBD (YES THEY HAVE EDIBLES FOR SALE USUALLY, but I'm not an edible person)
As for the Staff....honestly I'm not sure where to start...if I was honestly better with names I'd know them all. They are 100% friendly, professional, knowledgeable about their products, sales, and promotions currently going on. The staff are engaging and not over barring to where you feel pressured into a purchase you dont want. At any time the staff will engage in small talk with the customer making the experience more personal than transactional. YOU ARENT JUST ANOTHER DOLLAR WALKING IN!

parking is usually fine unless its at peak times (google is pretty spot on with peak hours)
Building and inside are very clean and kept orderly.
There is a restroom inside incase of mother nature calls.
You can obtain a medical card from here. The system changed a bit due to covid. I dont know the new system in place. Ask a budtender for more details about this.
All in all Rock Creek is my preferred go to dispensary in Joliet. The Colorado branch is okay but no where close to where Rock Creek is.
Rock Creek Rise is Tier 1 in my opinion. Stop in today and enjoy the experience you're ment to have at a dispensary

Read moreI'm always willing to give customer service staff the benefit of the doubt, customer service isn't easy, but you can't just talk about a customer's order like "she" this or "she" that as if I'm not there. Talk to me! Tell me what is going on with my order!
My order was supposed to be curbside. I parked, checked in online via the link emailed to me, waited 15 min, no one came out. So I called, I was met with hostility. They told me someone would be right out. Waited another 15 min, still no one. In the meantime I see other customers exit and staff chatting outside with them.
Finally decided to just go inside. We got buzzed inside and my ID was handed off from the security desk staff to another staff as I was directed to the counter. I was asked for my ID 3x by the same staff member behind the counter even tho I told her the other staff member had it. My IDs were handed off to so many people, I was starting to get worried I wouldn't get them back.
Finally got my order in front of us and I'm over allotment, that's fine, take x out. Then, after they already took my money, they said I'm over allotment still. But don't worry they'll give me cash for the item I had to take out... Pretty sure they only gave me that amount back (for the item taken out) not the change from the original transaction. We weren't given all receipts.
Update: they replied to my review requesting I email them, which I did. A week later, I haven't...
Read moreI’m writing this review due to a rude security guard by the name of John I’m a newer medical patient and have never been to the curbside pick up for this location and there are two lanes in the back of the store so I pulled In to the closest lane by the building no one was outside to direct me I began to call the store to have a team member come outside but before I could connect to the store I saw someone was coming out so I hung up the phone and rolled my window down expecting to be greeted kindly John seemed to come out with an attitude and barking orders for me to back up and move to the outter lane which was no issue to me but there was no reason to treat a patient just coming to pick up there order so rudely it's as simple as coming out of the store and saying hi welcome to rise dispensary and then kindly asking could you please move over to our other lane for pick up orders but instead I wasn't even greeted kindly with a hello I rolled the window down and was being barked orders with an attitude. All in all the staff who actually are part of rise are kind and friendly and are great but they need to hire a better security guard with manners toward patients and non patients hopefully they can send him for extra training on customer interactions almost a month now with no response to this when other reviews...
