Stopped by last week to get my phone fixed around 2:45-3:00pm. I was told that it would be ready at 4:30pm. Arrived at 4:37pm and still had to wait 20 minutes. Not a problem at all. When I got my phone, it was “Unavailable” and apparently locked. The background on the phone was also different from my normal background. I asked the tech “Does the wallpaper change when you swap the screen?” (This was the 6th time I fixed my screen so I already knew the answer). He said it doesn’t change anything. I was told that I’d have to erase everything on the phone by connecting it to my iTunes account. When I clicked “Erase Phone” the iCloud email wasn’t my email. I went to T Mobile to see if they could help but they said he 100% gave me the wrong phone. So I took the phone back to him to tell him that the email on the iCloud wasn’t mine and he made it seem like I was stupid or something. He tried calling my phone number as if it would ring while it was locked. I constantly told him that it wasn’t my phone but he acted as if I stole my phone or something. I don’t have a reason to steal. I have a great paying job. I’ve had the same phone for 5 years. When I got home I told my wife to track my location. It tracked to be in Jupiter but I had a phone in my possession , weird. He asked what cellphone service I had. I said T Mobile and he defensively said “We don’t have any other T Mobile phones here”. Ultimately, he ended up calling my restaurant to tell them that they mistakenly gave me the wrong phone when I was telling him that from the beginning. My biggest problem is that when I told him it wasn’t my phone, he got defensive instead of just simply checking the back room where my phone was.(That’s what a manager normally does right??) They have a nice and clean shop but I will not be returning here. As a General Manager of a restaurant that prides itself on hospitality, this was AWFUL...
Read moreThis is my second review. My first one wasn't good, at all, partly because a misunderstanding on my part. I dropped my iPad mini off to be fixed on June 20th. I was told to come and pick it up next day. Was called next day and told that the adhesive wasn't sticking. They told me another 6 hours, so I planned to come back. Received a phone call from tech Josh, which is where my misunderstanding came in. I thought he had said when they were prying off the glass, they broke it. In all actuality, it's a little piece inside the iPad that was broken and it could've easily been broken by me when the screen cracked. Tech smart said because it happened on their watch, they'd pay to have it repaired. They could've easily said to go kick rocks, but they manned up and paid for it.
They received the iPad back to their shop and it wasn't working. Josh called me and I could tell he was waiting on me to freak out on him when he had to explain they had to send it back to be fixed. He kept me abreast of the situation and called me numerous times to tell me where it was at on the second repair.
Long story short, my first review was done in haste, when I was angry and upset with the situation. I will say this: the way tech smart handled me and my absolute bitchiness was wonderful. Eli, who owns the shop, explained everything to me. And I left today with my working iPad and very satisfied with it. I could tell with my conversation with Eli today that they really care about customer service and he wanted me to be satisfied. I would recommend my family and friends to have their devices fixed...
Read moreCame in with a broken LCD and cracked screen on a galaxy a20 over the coarse of 3 and a half weeks and my phone being in and out of their shop 4 times 1st issue tech released phone with several parts of the screen not attached to the phone I brought it back they tried again only to return it to me worse then what it was 3rd time I was dealing with the owner he said he would take it into his own hands to assure it gets done right promised me a refund if he couldn't do it they called me said it was done now the owner did worse then any of his techs with 360 degrees screen not attached brought it back to try to get my money back he told me I needed a new frame and screen witch got done free of charge only issue is now the phone heats up cant charge it screen constantly turns on and off by itself came back in for the 5th time refusing them to try to fix the 4th issue they caused and asked for a refund i finally got it after a long drawn out argument.......I was threatened by the owner if i made this bad review him telling me hes a IT guy and he would destroy me i asked if that was a threat he assured me it was a promise police report was made .....I would highly recommend...
