I went here last week. I haven't eaten here in a few years but remember it being good. I go to Aldi a few times a month and we were really hungry so we walked over before going shopping. It looked abandoned but as I was trying to figure out if it was open an employee opened the door to enter. I noticed only two employees sitting at a table and the rest of the place was empty. No diners! This is a bit of a red flag since it is lunchtime. I barely stepped inside and noticed grime on the floor in the front corners near the window. Another red flag that maybe the cleanliness is not to my standard. Given that there were no customers there was plenty of time to deep clean and they had two employees at the table so they have the staff available. It looks like it's not a priority. I walk up to the register and look at the menu. There is another guy behind the register. But once I see grime built up next to the register we are out. We left. No matter how good it used to be there is no way I trust it is any cleaner in the back with the food. There is a difference between dust, dirt and grime. This place needs a serious deep clean and someone who cares. It appears neglected but not for lack of employees. Very sad. We went and got smoothies to hold us over we had to wait as there was a line. Clearly people are hungry and not going in...
Read moreSo disappointed with the attitude of John the owner. I ordered food for pick up. When i arrived, NO ONE was wearing a mask or gloves. No no was wiping down the tables where people were sitting outside. I decided to call the owner. I never received a return call. I waited 1 week & called again. John never apologized or attempted to. He was clearly annoyed with my call and told me i was tying up his phone line and to call him on his cell phone and we could talk about it all day, then hung up on me.
I am sad because this was one of my favorite places to go! I will NOT go back. It was rude & disrespectful. I learned a long time ago things roll down hill. This explains the attitude of the employee who told me if he had to wear a mask, he would just stay home. Good Luck Mr Gyros. I am sure there are many who would not appreciate your lack of customer care, especially during this...
Read moremy partner got take out from here and got me a falafel gyro. they packed the falafel separately along with some old already browning lettuce and tomato. the actual flatbread/pita was missing and the falafel itself quite possibly the driest and most flavorless thing i could possibly consume. oh and there was a short black hair embedded in it. disgusting. it came with a side of just plain tahini the kind you can just buy at the grocery store which tastes like nothing. tahini is not eaten on its own, it’s the base for sauces but i guess these people don’t know that. my partner got the falafel bowl and it was equally as disappointing and frankly gross. i’ve never had hummus that was both nasty yet didn’t taste like anything. truly a magic trick. probably the worst “greek” food i’ve ever had. expensive too. you’re better off just not...
