Palm Beach Ice Cream — Restaurant in Jupiter

Been going to Palm beach for a over year. They have the best ice cream by far! We go so much Ryan knows us by name. He is the best by the way. Everyone that I dealt with there are very accommodating when I tell them I have a tree nut allergy, I know the separate ice cream bin is really hard bc its super cold and I appreciate that they still scoop up my favorite flavor. Except for today...I went tonight for my usual salty caramel. Some one behind the counter not familiar to us proceeded to tell he cannot serve me that ice cream because its too hard, would I care for the regular salty caramel they serve everyone else. I wish i could eat that but since they have a lot of ice cream flavors with nuts I cannot or else i will have an anaphylactic reaction. He suggested to go to the Tequesta store WTH??? I am an adult so I just left but what if it was a child that has a tree nut allergy. One would deny a child bc the ice cream is too hard??? Sooo disappointed to say the least. I would give zero stars for service if I could. Just horrible...

We stopped here as we were on our way home. This place makes their ice cream homemade, which is quite rare! This was my father's favorite ice cream shoppe, and they stopped every time they passed by, which turned out to be 2-3 times a week. Mom said she had not been since Dad passed 8 years ago. The girl behind the counter offered me a taste of their new flavor, Peanut Butter, OMG that was so good. I was going to get that, until Mom spotted the Costa Rican Coffee (which contained finely ground coffee beans). That was amazing, we both love coffee ice cream, and store bought coffee ice cream is very weak in the intensity of flavor. I saw the T-shirts they were selling and bought one. The ice cream is very creamy and has a lot of flavor! Banana foster is my go to, my wife’s is bing cherry! I would definitely suggest testing the flavors before hand to make sure it fits your flavor profile. There is two locations in Jupiter and the ice cream is hand churned. I recommend coming here with the family to give it a try. Much better then carvel or the other generic ice cream shops around the area. Giving 4 stars as the service is ok but each time I’ve been here it’s younger staff that seems bothered to provide customer service. They serve the ice cream to you then walk in the back before your even out the door. Kinda funky...
