Multiple people have recommended this salon to me and I can't seem to understand why. My first encounter with this salon, I made an appointment to cut my hair. In my message to them online, I said I was also interested in the bridal package and what they offer. At the end of my appointment, I was handed a paper with their pricing on it and was told I would be contacted to further discuss details. That was November. After getting home and seeing my hair, I realized that what I received is absolutely not want I wanted and it was poorly executed. My hair was cut into a V, which I did ask for, but not blended at all and no layers. My hair is very thick and it is very noticeable. I decided to not contact the salon and make a complaint, and to just simply not go back. Since I have my wedding coming up in June, the lady that I hired to do the bridal party hair and makeup suggested I bring someone else in to alleviate some of the stress and to get everyone done in a timely matter. She suggested this salon. So, today, I gave them a call and inquired if my date was available for a couple services in salon. The lady on the phone said that there was availability and that she could send me an email in the next couple of minutes. That was 40 minutes ago. While I completely understand the busyness of being in the service industry, I cannot understand the poor customer service, especially for someone willing to pay the money. Had I been contact the first time, I would have given my business to them, despite having a poor experience with my haircut. But I am thankful because I, myself, being in the service industry do not appreciate poor customer service. And this one of the most important days in my life- my...
Read moreStylist (Kate) was nice over all but she didn’t give me the hair color I wanted. I came in with black hair, already dyed spots and I wanted pastel pink where my hair was dyed plus a little more done. There wasn’t a lot of communication with pricing and how much extra I was being charged for the product she was putting in my hair without telling me. I was super upset and cried when I went home. My dad called and the owner offered some sort of refund back because the last time I was there it was 175$ and I was charged 216. When I went back my dad went with me and they didn’t apologize once. Only when we left the stylist did. Again no hate to the stylist, she does great with other hair and I recommend her for her other services. The owner kept pushing saying it does look pretty but I felt intimidated and I felt forced to choose either paying a buttload of more money or let it fade. Obviously I don’t want my hair getting damaged so I said I’d let it fade but she didn’t even stop us for my 50-60$ back. My dad was defending me the entire time and it felt like the stylist was paying more attention to my dad who was upset for them than my issues. I’m a girl who is sick and may have to go for treatment and may lose my hair and this was possibly my last hair appointment and I wanted it done perfectly. I was very disappointed but the stylist skill is good and she was nice. She just didn’t give me what I...
Read moreI decided to have my hair dyed at the craft society after having an amazing experience with Victoria doing my lashes and because the reputation it has... I could have been more let down. Taylor destroyed my pretty blonde hair. I wanted to have my balayage redone and to go lighter. It's important to know that my hair was allready pretty much platinum. The process took five hours..and I was left with yellow hair. Even when I took my dark brown hair to blonde it didn't take that long or did it destroy the health of it that this did. When paying over 200$ and spending five hours in the salon I was expecting to get what I wanted. Not only did she tell me herself that the color I wanted was reach able but still decided to charge me full price when she knew I wasn't happy about it. And also charge 42$ for a tiny trim thay came out extremely uneven. I literally want to cry about how terrible my hair looks and feels. And honestly having her fix it is not an option for me unless someone else other than her does it. I had to use purple shampoo the day she did it cause it was soo brassy.. I was extremely excited to have my hair done at craft society and now have to go somewhere else to have it fixed and spend...
