For the most part my experience here has been good, but for the sake of full disclosure I'll share my good and bad experiences. The reason why this isn't five stars is due to past experiences with one of the graveyard workers who was in my opinion very abrasive and condescending. That being said my past few interactions with him have been good. I am not sure what changed with him but something has seemed to change for the better. The rest of the staff have been great. I have had small issues such as having a prescription confirmed over the phone and told to come get it and then when I show up being told I'd have to come back the next day because it was early (this happened twice) to be fair they are busy and probably caught it after the call but it was frustrating they didn't call to tell me and both times I drove 11 miles in, only to have to turn right back around and go back home. Now on a more positive note there have been a few of the ladies there who have gone above and beyond in other areas which result in me overlooking the frustration I've had in other areas. I was having insurance issues one time and one of the techs literally spent hours resolving it for me through many calls she didn't necessarily have to make. Another one went to great lengths to assist me with getting a refund after I paid full price due to my insurance not being updated. She could've insisted I drive back home to get the receipt and then bring it back (30 mile round trip) ,which is standard policy, but instead consulted with her supervisor and found a way to confirm everything through my reward card ID. This created a burden for her but she did it to make my life simpler which I appreciated. She was even apologizing for it taking a few minutes which I told her "you are doing me a favor, no apology needed." I guess in the end the smaller frustrations that come with a busy place like this are overshadowed by the help I have gotten in other areas, which in my opinion, have been above and beyond a typical standard of care.. No i do not work there and no I do not know anybody personally who works there. This is not to falsely pump anybody up, this is simply my experience.I guess i try to remember at the end of the day this is a very very busy business and with that minor frustrations will occur. However; after weighing the bad with good the good certainly outweighs the bad in...
Read moreI just want to say I got one am sick and tired of the new people n and out of these stores. I came to the Walgreens to load my card like I do EVERY week. I had $550 to load. No problem Walgreens allows people with Chime to load max amounts 3x a day. That’s the limit. Trust me I know this I do it here at this same store every week. Well the girl got snooty real quick saying, “um…our max limit is $500.” I told her it’s not, that I come all the time. It’s $500 for other cards but NOT chime. She then calls her even MORE snooty “manager” to again say “oh no we only do $500, someone didn’t follow the rules.” I’m telling you NO and refusing it. I said ma’am it’s $50 extra the limit is 3x the stores max. I was here last week, plus I pulled up the stores policy and she just became more annoyed with me, saying again…”you can go to another store cause I’m not going to do it”. Wow lady I got bills to pay, we’re in Kalispell, com on you k ow I need to load more for these high bills around here. She became aggressive and very annoyed saying absolutely not. I think people just being handed management positions LOVE the authority and just can’t help themselves by being COMPLETELY unreasonable. It’s sad. It why they go through managers like toilet paper. Trust me. People need to care more. We’re all trying to survive in this scary world. It’s just not worth the lack of compassion. I’m a owner/operator of 2 businesses and it’s tough out there. I’ve got 4 kids too. This lady just caused my entire family unnecessary bs and time for no reason AT ALLL. Sleep well old lady. Heavy hearts hold weight in the...
Read moreI had previously good interactions with the staff and the customer service was well enough not to complain.
However, an interaction that I had with the management staff member changed my opinion of this place. I had placed an order for cards in the photo center. Upon picking them up I noticed 4 were miss cut and not printed correctly. I returned to get them reprinted, no problem. She took my 4 cards and I was on my way. The next day I returned for my reprints and they were no where to be found. No problem, just resubmit the order the gal told me as the photos were already out of the system, and they will be complimentary. When I returned to the store to pick up the resubmitted photos I was greeted with a not so nice manager. I tried explaining my situation to her many times and she was unable to hear and understand what I was saying. She was insistent that I was doing something incorrectly and when the original gal came over and explained the situation she still was unable to accommodate. Just saying the same things insistently over and over. The interaction ended with the manager shoving the photos over to me in a huff. I took my 4 and left.
I honestly feel for the staff if this is the leadership they have to look up to. That staff is unable to be successful due to the poor quality and poor hospitality of their support team. This poor interaction is something that has changes my opinion of the store and its ability to take care of its customers.
I would give 1/5 stars but my interactions have been fine until now. I hope for better management strategies for their staff...
