We're super pleased with our experience with Dave Curtis and his crew! Our style is to be fully engaged with our renovation projects and even exert some of our own sweat equity. Dave was totally open to our involvement and turned out to be great to work with. Because this isn't our first rodeo, we have pretty good instincts when vetting a potential contractor. We instantly felt that Dave clearly heard our intentions for this project, would collaboratively provide his own thoughtful ideas, and would be able to tap into his extensive construction background. Our contribution was to stain and seal all the wood elements and clear the site for his workers. His crew showed up every day, worked into the extreme heat of the day, and showed great teamwork throughout the project. While late-stage change orders can add stress and frustrate a crew, Dave's team truly rolled with the punches when a last-minute change unfortunately added a day to their schedule. But their work up until the very end was stellar. Each member of his 3-man crew brings a slightly different skill set to the project, but they somehow manage to compliment each other's expertise. We decided we wanted a walk in tub. Living in a 20 year old manufactured home often presents "challanges". Dave gave us a good price, which included a platform (for drainage), installing floor and wall tile, electrical, water, drain and the tub. The end result looks beautiful. Dave previously constructed a covered front porch on our home. After our 1st experience we were happy to hire him to complete a Bathroom in our basement.
