I had a hilarious time at Family Dollar in Kanab! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the selection of products was surprisingly diverse. I mean, where else can you find a pack of baseball cards, a bottle of soda, and a toy dinosaur all in one place? The prices were incredibly low, and I couldn't resist buying more than I intended to. The only downside was that the checkout line moved slower than a snail on a lazy Sunday afternoon. But hey, it gave me more time to browse the shelves and discover even more random treasures. Beware of price inaccurate price tags. No one in the store knows who is responsible for insuring that the price tags are placed with the corresponding items. So the price tag you see for an item you're about to purchase may not apply to that item. For the item I was to purchase, there were two misplaced price tags and none for the item I was to purchase.

Does anyone in this store know what's going on about prices? One fellow said the prices are established by the third party stockers. So Family Dollar doesn't set the prices? Staff are pretty confused about...

Okay selection and great for non perishables such as a bottle of water, paper towels, and snacks. Staff wasn’t friendly, had to squeeze a dog toy to get someone to work the cash register and mask weren’t worn (a common theme in Kanab). The town in general seems to loathe the tourists who volunteer at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Small town with small town mentality.
