I visited Taro Coffee this morning after my usual spot was packed, and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to unwind. The menu impressed me with a variety of options, particularly for those who prefer non-coffee beverages.
While they don’t offer decaf coffee beans, the staff was helpful in suggesting alternatives. I opted for an 8oz cappuccino, and it was delightful. Watching the espresso shot pull was a treat in itself - smooth with a beautiful layer of crema. If you are also tired of backpacking meals, they had these protein bars (off the farm peanut butter) that were great too!

I have had coffee here a few times and it's just so good - somehow I had allowed myself to get used to the mediocre coffee around town, but Taro is the good stuff! Big fan of the cold brew, and the lavender iced latte. If you're not sure what you want, just start saying things you like and they'll make you something. Very happy to have a new coffee spot in town.
*Update: the Taro latte is my new jam. If you're unfamiliar with taro, it is a root vegetable similar to a yam. The flavor is sweet and nutty - almost like a...
