7-Eleven — Local services in Kanab

I come to Utah often for business and I've always been impressed by the hospitality of the locals here no matter what part of the state I am in. In fact, I've grown so fond of Utah over the last few years that I am now considering moving here permanently, and have recently started looking for property to buy in the Logan area. That said, I've never once been treated rudely at any establishment in the entire state of Utah until walking into this 7-Eleven just this morning. I am currently driving to Orem for work after being inconveniently hung up in Arizona for the last few days, and stopped in here around 8:00 AM for some coffee and something sweet to eat. Being more than excited to have finally crossed the state line into Utah, where I've always been greeted with smiles and kindness by all of the wonderful people I've ever encountered here, my mood was instantly deflated upon entering this store. The 3 women that were working here this morning literally scowled at me as I walked past them and made my way to the restroom. When I emerged a few minutes later, I proceeded on to the coffee bar and was once again met with 3 glaring faces. And although they continued to talk amongst themselves rather fervently, not one of these women said a single word to me the entire time that I was in their store, and they were all just about as unaccommodating as anyone ever could have possibly been. I think it's needless to say that I won't be shopping at this particular 7-Eleven again after today. There are many other convenient stores in and around this area, and after the way that I was treated by the employees here, I am happy to take my business somewhere else...

we were passing by from page az going to vegas nv to catch a flight back home to toronto in canada... SUCH FRIENDLY PEOPLE ive never met such nice people before Kanab is filled with such friendly uplifted joyful people from the staff in this 711 to the civilians i was looking for a pb n j sandwhich but couldnt find one they have such a big selection of things to choose from nonetheless! a guy started to talk to us and we all had a laugh what a nice man bless him bless the staff and bless this town and the beautiful state of utah and this country if you guys are from around here your very lucky to be there! people are so much more mindful friendly and full of life in the south west than where i live when i get older im definitley moving here

This is my stopping place evertime I pass through Kanab. The crew are always curteous regardless of the time of day. I always buy something to show my thx but regardless they always allow me to refill my empty water bottles, with water off course, at no charge. And might I add, their water is filtered, cold, and great tasting. I personally prefer my drinks from them rather than the Wendy's inhouse. The 4 stars is ONLY because the bathrooms could be kept clean a little more, but in their defense as well, they are busy, and a favorite stop for tour busses as well it seems. Your crew are the bomb, keep doing what your doing... it works. See y'all...
