My MacBook Pro crashed, and I lost a year of original designs and files for my business. I went to Best Buy Geek Squad to transfer the data from my old computer to the new and they couldn’t get it and within 5 min told me that it was hopeless and they didn’t know how to help me. They pointed me to an Apple-certified store downtown… I called them and explained. This store told me they closed in 20 min and I could bring it in 2 days later when they opened again, and I was more than welcome to bring it in but they didn’t think they’d be able to do anything if Geek Squad couldn’t.

I called Computer Pros, who assured me that they’ve seen stuff like this all the time - they WOULD get my data back, don’t worry. They might have to do a little extra work but they’d get it all for me. They called me 2 hours later with an estimate to okay the work, and had my computer back to me WITH ALL MY DATA… in under 24 hours. I simply cannot thank them enough… and I know that in this world of big box business it’s easy to run to those… but this is a small business that deserves the support! I was having problems with my laptop running slow plus my virus software expired and I wanted to change. I took my laptop to Computer Pros Inc and explained what was going on with my laptop and Alex explained that he would run a scan to make sure I had no viruses nor malware lurking around. Later that day Alex called me and explained to me what he had found and suggested that I have a new hard drive installed because the one on my laptop was old and was not running well. I gave Alex permission to install a new state of the art solid state hard drive and install a new virus scanning program.

The next day around noon Alex called me and told my laptop was ready. I immediately went to their store and Alex explained to me what he had done. He told me that in all likelihood the laptop would run better than before. He was absolutely correct. My laptop in my opinion didn't run this well when it was new!! I could provide all the ridiculous details of how my Macbook Air died out of nowhere, with no warning signs, and how the staff at Apple told me all the ways there was nothing to be done, but the short version is this: Computer Pros are AMAZING! They are friendly, prompt, and professional, but most importantly, they got my Macbook back up and running, with no loss of data when the "Geniuses" at Apple told me the computer was dead in the water, my data was gone, and there was nothing to be done to recover my data or fix the computer. I work from home, I need my computer, and the idea that everything was gone, and nothing could be done, when the only issue was the battery was no longer charging made no sense at all. I am so glad I found Computer Pros. and I'm so grateful they didn't agree with Apple's assessment. In less than a week I had my computer back as though nothing had happened.
