I called around 6:30 p.m. on 2/5/19 for the purpose of placing a delivery order for my family. This was our 1st time calling them. A female answered the phone & I tried ordering their cho cho chicken (just one item out of our order). Keep in mind this was our 1st time calling them & I did research their menu to figure out what they called their chicken on a stick because every Chinese restaurant calls it something different. Furthermore, I would have never called China Wok if our regular Chinese restaurant was open. Back to this female representative of this restaurant, she lost her mind when I started asking her specific questions about this chicken on a stick. She flipped out on me over the phone. I had to tell her I couldn’t understand her. She was talking so fast & excitedly (not in a good way). I was asking her how many pieces of chicken came on a stick & she would say, “I don’t know. 1, 2. Depends.” All in a very hateful voice. I tried asking her to ask the kitchen, she refused that. I asked for a manager. She ignored me. Her last words to me were, “You ask too many questions!” Then something to the effect of ‘ no one has ever asked this many questions.” Then click. She hung up on me. I tried calling back twice, but someone picked up the phone then immediately hung up. They had their chance to make about $60 from me. I wonder what her boss will think when...
Read moreWe ordered on door dash earlier tonight and everything was bland. Food didn't have much flavor and the fried rice wasn't par. The crab Rangoons were the only ones that made our taste buds happy. Not trying to be rude here. That's what these reviews are for. My bf had to fix the "fried rice" and we had to had some other things to what we ordered. Thankfully my bf is a chef and knows asian food well. You guys should hire him lol spent 80 bucks and wasn't satisfied. Just glad we could fix it. Sad part was that we didn't want to cook and depend on services like this so we don't have to. I guess we could give them another try in the future, maybe. But we'll see. Just here for an honest review. We ordered the beef and broccoli, orange chicken and chicken lomien all dinner combination which came with egg drop soup, crab Rangoons and the chips that top the egg drop soup. The chips were okay. Egg drop soup was good. The beef and broccoli was bland, it had a lot of watery taste. The orange chicken tasted like it was precooked and put in a microwave with some water. I was disappointed but hey it could be whoever cooked tonight. Who knows. 2 stars because the egg drop soup and crab Rangoons...
Read moreUpdate as of 4/29/2025: Unfortunately, the quality at this restaurant has noticeably declined over the past few months. My last three visits have all been disappointing. Most recently, I ordered shrimp and scallops with an extra portion of scallops, but the scallops were so tough they were nearly inedible. I mentioned this to our server, but she showed no concern. On another visit, my order came with the wrong sauce, and even though I’ve ordered this dish many times before, the staff insisted it was correct. In a previous visit, I ordered Singapore noodles with shrimp and paid an extra $3 for additional shrimp—only to receive five small pieces. After these repeated issues, I don’t plan on returning.
Original Review: This is one of our favorite Chinese restaurants! The dine-in experience is always fresh and hot, with generous portions at excellent prices. The service is top-notch, and the scallops are impressive—large and perfectly cooked, not the small ones you find elsewhere....
