Brookshire's — Local services in Kaufman

Brookshire's has always been a great small town grocery store. And I'd much rather pay a little extra for groceries than deal with Walmart traffic. However, we were blown away on our last visit!! We love sushi, of course Brookshire's is not the first place that comes to mind. But it's decent for the convenience of not going to an actual restaurant. I'm celiac and can not have anything which contain wheat. The sushi case was pretty full for the Sunday afternoon, but there were not many options I could eat. The gentleman working the sushi counter noticed us looking thru the rolls and asked if he could help. He went out of his way to prepare us fresh rolls. We chose exactly what we wanted. As full as the case was anyone else could have just said sorry that's all we got. He showed AMAZING customer service and they were really good!! Love the deli and seafood market inside the 🏡 Kaufman Texas location. They have a huge meat market there that offers a ray of specialty foods like nowhere else east of Kaufman. Everything is made to order even at there scrumptious bakery. Steamed fresh seafood, stuffed meat and mushrooms , fresh local cooked and baked foods, the breads cakes and pastries melt in your mouth 👄. They have loads of gourmet meals, foods of all types and cheeses. The produce is always fresh. The store is always clean and never has an odor to it ONLY the smell of great fresh bread, chicken, barbeque, and pastries. Everytime i go to this store i drive 45 miles one way passing up many other grocery stores along with one other Brookshires .This location is well worth my trip everytime for the past...

Large selection of different fresh fruits and vegetables great sales a lot less crowded, lines are not 5 people ahead of you. They have self check out and it is very user friendly. Their fruit and vegetables have the bar code stickers which really speeds things up and makes it a lot easier using self check out. They have a great sale deal called The great grill combo which has a differe meats you choose any 4 of the selections they have for $19.99, they always have any types of meats for example: chicken, hamburger meat, round steak, stew meat, pork chops, country pork ribs, chicken breast chicken legs, thighs, to name a few.
