Not impressed. I was so excited to support this local and female owned business but I have been disappointed. When I first wanted a dog kennel built at the bottom of a built-in next to my fireplace they said they “were not building kennels with built-ins right now”. Ok, I thought that was odd since they literally build kennels and built-ins as their business lol. I had decided to just do the built-in without the kennel but I am not going to have them do it now and this is why. I recently bought a table from them and was notified that we could pick it up the coming weekend. Great! We sold our existing table and scheduled a time to pick up. The NIGHT BEFORE, I was called and was told they had machine issues and the table wasn’t ready. I can’t help but wonder if they were just now starting on it. Anyway, I understand stuff happens so again, I just asked when we could pick up. They said the beginning of the next week. It has now been over a week since then and it’s still not ready. Kind of bummed by the whole experience.
2/19/25Since it won’t let me respond to the owner, I have to update here. Per her response below. I love how she’s trying to make it sound like I posted my review AFTER she texted me yesterday and told me my table was “being finished now”. She only contacted me AFTER I posted this review and said my table “was being finished now”. I didn’t get a call until this morning that it was finally finished. She is twisting everything to make me sound unreasonable and like they made no mistakes. She doesn’t mention the fact that when she texted me yesterday she said what actually happened to begin with was someone with a very similar name had an order ready and they accidentally called me instead of the other person to begin with! So which is it?? Machine issues or a name mixup?? If someone would’ve told me they made a mistake and called me accidentally instead of the other person, I would’ve totally understood. As far as “accommodating me after hours”, they literally told me we could pick up on Sat by appointment so that’s what we chose! I wasn’t aware we were putting anybody out. (I was also told that one of their guys works on Sat anyway). They are only open 11-4 on weekdays, BTW.
I was actually going to delete this review after she texted me yesterday but after seeing her response here and the fact that she is manipulating everything to make it sound like the customer is crazy and just unreasonable instead of just taking accountability is not ok. I just want her to own up to the fact that they messed up and offer a SINCERE apology and be completely honest. That’s it. How hard is that? Read moreUpdate I was contacted by the owner and my carpet order was canceled after waiting one month without carpet, probably because they realized they messed up on measurements and it was going to cost them more money. Funny how they wanted to make the situation right so my review didn’t hurt their rating but then cancel my products I’ve been waiting for a month for. And not one time did they even call me to get the whole story. Just be warned.
Giving two stars because the quality is there. I’ve ordered from this company for years and like their products but recently nothing but issues. They only ordered 2 of my 3 barn doors I ordered on discount which cool fine but the discount doors were 150$ not 700$ so they told me they could add a credit to my account for the 150$ and come to find out never did so now I’m just (SOL) on my credit. They also knew I needed 3 doors and when I ordered them I told them 6+ times I needed the hardware for 3 doors and a set up for a bypass track. I opened the kit and surprise only one hanger for a door not the other 2. And not even the right hangers for a bypass. I’ve also recently purchased carpet and got a quote for flooring. The flooring sq footage quote was less then actual footage and they even charged me to come measure. So who knows if my carpet is even going to be the proper measurements. As a fellow contractor I loved having someone to refer my clients to that was fair priced and good quality but I don’t love a company that doesn’t stand behind their own mistakes. Get everything in writing because they will not notate it on your file nor will they credit you without you having to hold their hand. Read moreTerrible... we wanted the demo one they had out for another customer. We come in to get ours and it's 100% wrong... wrong color, this one had a lifting portion which we didn't want... the front doors were wrong.. etc. We told them it was all wrong and they would fix it all.. come back and they fixed the doors but the top wasn't the correct color or type.. you can see they tried to stain it the correct color but obviously that was a mistake you can see it - at this point we just took the dang thing home because they obviously were not going to fix it or admit they messed up.. also the paint inside is coming off. (See photos).. we've NEVER even used this yet, this has been sitting in our living room. Also when you load it, they don't even spend the money to add plastic protectors to the bottom so when you get home good chance your wood is splitting at the bottom.. WORST $1,000 IVE' EVER SPENT. Would never recommend these guys.. this entire thing is nothing but mistakes all over it, now we have paint coming off inside, paint splatters on the side, wrong type of kennel, etc.. just terrible experience with quality and...
