I knew was walking into some mediocre food with basic service before entering the restaurant, so I wasn't expecting much but the way my table was treated was atrocious. Four of us walked in and sat at the front waiting to be seated, a server with a terrible cough sat us down, gave is popcorn and walked away. We waited for about 5 minutes until a server came and asked for our drinks, we had 3 waters 2 beers and a lemonade. While ordering our beers, I had a wonderful time explaining that my motorcycle permit is a valid utah State I'D, and he should in fact know this by taking the state liqour lisence test. He ended up agreeing with me and gave us our beers. Shortly after that, we get this new girl that seems a little rushed and says "sorry I will be your new server are you guys ready to order?" we were so we all ordered. Two of us got sticky fingers "which were good" a quesadilla "very bland" and a medium rare winger burger. We waited 20 to 25 minutes for our food to come out, and mind you that there are only 5 other tables in the restaurant so the food realisitcly should have taken 15 minutes. Right when I'm about to get antsy and start asking how long until we get our food, our server comes by finally and drops everything off. She hands me my plate first -the burger-and its scorching hot (I really didn't think anything of it at the time) everyone else got their food and everything was fine. My burger came with a dill pickle and the poor thing was shedding because it sat under the heat lamps in the kitchen to long, so I tossed the pickle aside and took a bite of my burger. Not only was my burger not cooked Medium rare, but you could tell it sat underneath the heat lamps for some time. The top bun was crusty as if it had gone through a toaster, and the bottom bun was soggy from the meat just sitting on top of it. Needdless to say I wasn't going to pay for my burger and wanted to return it back to the kitchen. The only problem was our server never checked on our table to see if the food was alright, never checked to see if we needed another beer or refills, she just kinda let us sit there and twiddle our thumbs until she could tell we were all done eating. She comes by and I inform the waitress that I am not paying for my burger. She replies with an attitude and says "ok well let me just get my manager to discount that for you" and walks off. The manager from eairler comes by and makes a Smart @#$ comment asking if the burger was too big for me, so I told him everything that was wrong with the burger, he discounted the burger off my ticket and my whole table paid and left no tip for the terrible service.
3 out of the 4 people used to be and or currently are server's, cooks and bartenders so we know...
Read moreWe had takeout yesterday from Wingers (Kaysville location) and it was extremely disappointing. For $12.50 My father's wing dinner misfilled as a finger dinner instead and had only 4 very sorry looking fingers. Another $12.50 I got a finger dinner and mine only had 4 half-sized fingers that were so old, it felt like I was chewing rubber.
Funny thing on the price there: Checking their website and the menu says that just a single order alone of wings or fingers (for a count of FIVE of them) only cost $7.50! We even called them and were informed that a "wing dinner" only comes with 4????
Let's math this out. If just wings cost $7.50 for 5, then that makes them $1.50 each. Since we got 4 in a meal for $12.50, that means they only took up $6 of that amount. You are apparently telling me that, the "fries and slaw" (or a sorry blob of mashed potatoes in my case) amount to $6.5? Really? What a ripoff.
If this is a corporate policy then HOLY COW. What terrible service. If this is a franchise location policy, then this location needs a new owner and/or management. I can get LOADED mashed potatoes at Texas Roadhouse for $3.50. LESS THAN HALF THE COST. Same thing for fries. It's a potato. You've got to be kidding on those kinds of prices. And slaw? What slaw? Not a single person got slaw. Maybe that would have evened out the price a little, but it wasn't even a factor.
My mother ordered some sort of pork/mango tacos and they had MAYBE some mango juice in it. She couldn't even be sure because it barely had a hint of the flavor. Not even a single chunk of mango. When we called back about the disappointing food, she was told it was in the slaw in the tacos. HA, again, what slaw?
The only one who got what they ordered and their money's worth was my husband who got a burger. Maybe they should join the IHOB train because they're seriously lacking in service for the company's namesake.
I hear Buffalo Wild Wings actually cares about quality and service. Guess we are changing who we get wings from.
$50ish bucks down the drain, and only one person fed well. 25% is a failing...
Read moreService was incredably slow and the employees didn't seem to care. A few days ago I ordered some take out. I was told that the order would be ready in 25-30 minutes and to pull up to their take out window. About 35 minutes after I called I pulled up to the restaurant. There was a car already at the window so I patiently waited for them to get their order and leave. 20 minutes later they finally left. I chalked that long wait to a possibly rude or demanding customer. When I got to the window the employee asked for my name, he went looking for my order and didn't come back for 10 minutes. When he came back he said that they needed another 10-15 minutes but wanted me to pay for the food and park for 10 minutes and come back around. So I paid and waited. Then got back in the to-go line behind now 2 cars. Those 2 cars took over an hour to get their food! I wish I could have gotten out of the to-go line, but there were 3 other cars behind me so I was stuck waiting. Finally when I got to the window it had been over 2 hours since I had made the original order and when I got my food it was totally cold. The food was also just thrown into the bag so everything was jumbled together in a heap. What a waste of my time and money. It would have been so much faster if I had dined-in. I hope they read these reviews and learn from these mistakes because our family will not be visiting the Kaysville...
