So far I have had two systems built by Prime Systems, and I will always return to them for more. Why? They genuinely care, treat me with honesty rather than looking at me as though I was a "number", and take the time needed to get the job done right.
I was surprised to read some of the negative comments below, as my visits have been nothing short of fantastic. For example, this describes my visit this past week:
I was having an issue with my WiFi Internet signal dropping frequently, so took my computer in. Aaron helped me, knowing his stuff quickly figured out the problem; I just My WiFi Adapter was going out and I needed a new one that could accommodate my recently upgraded Internet Speed/Equipment. His crew installed it then and there, I paid, and went home now able to utilize the faster speeds.
Then I got a call from Aaron. He informed me that because I was still under warranty I actually did not need to pay for Labor, or the full price of the new Adapter. I paid $60, and he said they were only going to charge me $25, and I could come in to receive my refund. They didn't have to do that. That is customer focused honesty, and it is rare to find these days.
Going in, Aaron and I started chatting about what I use my computer for, and he told me about the new faster Solid State Drives, which increases my computer's speed ten-fold and would make my job much easier with Graphic Design. I told him I was interested, but could not afford to lose my computer for an extended amount of time. "No Problem" he replied, and setup a time that he would personally install the new equipment in one day. I now have that installed and designing goes SO fast! Aaron took the time to find out what my needs were, so I was able to get to most out of my equipment, and my gosh what a difference it has made.

   Read moreI can go "on-and-on" about the quality of their hardware, and how they build great systems, and their prices were/are competitive, and blah, blah, blah... It's nothing you haven't heard before and could be said of a lot of different places.
However, this company is incredible because they care. Everyone there is extremely helpful and is willing to spend any, or all, parts of their day to make sure you get exactly what you needed. I'm positive they won't stop until they've done everything they can to take care of you. Joe is an incredible system designer/builder and is wonderfully knowledgeable about computers (and a great deal of many other things I imagine). Keith is the very definition of customer service and has taught that invaluable trait to everyone working for him. I'm not related to anyone there, and I've only known them over the last three years as it relates to the computers I've purchased, but I can tell you, from one small business owner to another (or anyone else), that these are the kinds of people you want to partner with. And I mean that in any of the usual, wholesome, non-sexual ways... though I'm sure they're more than competent in that arena as well.
Giving the cliche "10 out of 5 stars". I can't imagine any scenario where you regret choosing...
   Read moreI'll preface this with saying that I used them years ago and they were wonderful. This time has been incredibly frustrating. They failed to return portions of my computer to me, which ended up costing me another week-and-a-half of frustration before I figured out what was wrong. When I called about it, they were incredibly rude. When I realized there was an additional piece that was never returned to me, I chose to just buy it online rather than ever stepping foot in that store again. No apologies, just attitude.
Sadly, the piece I purchased online didn't fit. Really, what sort of technician takes pieces off a computer and doesn't put them back? I'm shocked and furious by how much time that one stupid decision has cost me. Left me thinking my computer had crashed again initially, and now it just randomly stops because my hard drive keeps popping out of place. So, I unscrew the back, pop it back in, and continue the search to replace a piece that I had when it went into them!! They may as well have just smashed my computer with a hammer.
