Growing Seeds Learning Academy — Local services in Kearny

I put my daughter here. She’s only 1 years old. I really loved this place. They keep you updated on the app, let you know when your child is fed and changed, when they nap, etc. My baby was only here for 3 days, then she was banned from daycare. I am still waiting for my refund.. it’s been two weeks.. I’m very sad at the fact she was banned due to no fault of her own. They shouldn’t punish the mother or child for what the father does. My daughter’s father went to pick her up, but because I knew he had been drinking. I told the daycare not to allow him to take her. He then showed up with our consent order and threatened the police. The reason I know this, is because Miss Weleska called me and told me I needed to pick up my baby because her father was threatening the police. This is very unfortunate. I keep calling the daycare to get updates on my refund. They never answer my phone calls .. the last time they answered my phone call was this recent Tuesday and I was told they would call back. They still haven’t.. the reason i keep on calling to ask for my refund is because of the concerning email I received. It explains I received a refund, but I had paid cash. So no refund returned back to me. They said they are mailing my refund.. but it’s been two weeks.. then I received another email saying the money has been credited.. at this point.. my child will not be going here.. she isn’t even allowed back.. I am highly upset that this had to be...

My daughter Penelope has been attending Growing Seeds Learning Academy since she was just 5 months old. As a parent, sending your child to daycare at such an early age can be incredibly scary, but GSLA made that transition so much easier and comforting.

Every single teacher Penelope has had—Ms. Betty, Ms. Claudia, Ms. Mey, Ms. Irina, Ms. Wendy, and Ms. Maria—has been loving, attentive, and caring, treating Penelope as if she were their own child. Their dedication has played a huge role in Penelope’s early education and development. Now at 2 ½ years old, she is smart, social, and thriving, which speaks volumes about the nurturing environment GSLA provides.

I also want to give a special shout-out to Ms. Alejandra and Ms. Waleska. They are always ready to address any questions, concerns, or needs promptly and with kindness. It’s clear that the entire team genuinely cares about the children and their families.

My daughter started going to this daycare since she was 6 months old and now she’s 2yrs old and I have nothing but to say great things about all the teachers and director, my daughter has gone from infant to now a toddler with no issues, all the teachers have help her grow and learn so much, she loves the daycare and every teacher, as a first time mom I was so scared when trying to find a perfect place when I had to go back to work and thanks to my sister that also was having such a great time with the daycare with her oldest, I enrolled her in growing seeds and until this day no regrets, the attention n loves they show my daughters only gives me reassurance that it was the best decision...
