Cevicheria El Limon — Restaurant in Kearny

Went on a Saturday and it was pretty empty, however, the food took forever to come out. The waitress forgot about our beverages while serving the tables that arrived after us their food and beverages. Portion are overpriced for how small they are. We were charged different price than what the menu showed, but at that point we just wanted to leave. Food was okay overall but service was non existent.

Jalea familiar was $28 Fries $4.50 Arroz chaufa de carne $18 Inca cola $4.00 ($3.50 on menu) Card fee is the tax which we asked about before paying since it’s not stipulated anywhere.

I google a Peruvian ceviche in Newark I called couple places and ask how the ceviche was made with Tilapia fish and answer was no so I decided to give a try it was absolutely delicious really great ceviche on point. Did tried the chicken milanesas was shocked when it was served with real home made fries . The staff is nice, a very authentic place. I ordered a Chaufa de mariscos but I noticed the seafood they used was pretty small kind of like they used frozen seafood. But of course it was delicious. The waitress was very attentive and it's a small family owned place so not many come and sit down to eat. My father ordered pescado a lo macho and it looked absolutely delicious!
