10 years ago I was in a really bad place. My cousin knew about it. He was moving to Kemah and picked me up to ride down with him. He took me all over the city but the place that stuck with my soul was the lighthouse district. Since then I have been coming as much as possible to visit him, the Boardwalk and the Lighthouse District. I always make one of my first stops to the Lighthouse. Today, things are much better. I am married with 2 children, employed and on vacation in Kemah this week for our 7 year wedding anniversary. I thank Kemah TX and the Lighthouse District (&my cousin for the introduction) specifically for helping me find my self, my spirit...

Favorite place to go if I am on this side of town. Park at 7th Street looking out over the bay, dinner or drinks on the boardwalk at Landry's, grab a coffee and listen to it all...
