Art of Coffee has to be one of the best (if not the BEST) coffee shop in the U.S. and certainly Texas. Owners Bill and Jimmy have spent the last four years building a unique relationship with both the community and an extremely loyal fan base. The quirky little shop is decorated floor to ceiling with amazing art from local artists. Cakes and pastries from local bakeries cover the counters and the smell of authentic Italian coffee blankets it all to make an amazing experience. If either of the owners are in, you’ll see them walking around talking to customers and sharing one of the many stories about how their shop came to be and you will realize just how passionate they are about not only making amazing coffee, but helping the community in whatever way possible. The Baristas are always friendly and excited to have a challenge. New recipes are always being developed for anyone looking for something unique and delicious, sweet or savory. Of all the coffee shops I’ve been to around the world, there is no other like Art of...
Read moreWent to art of coffee around 8am this morning and ordered a vanilla frappe. I took my first sip and it was just too much syrup. I go to art of coffee every once in awhile and I know my coffee. I nicely went to the front to say I wasn’t happy with my drink and asked for it to be remade. The man there then took my drink and took a sip of the leftover drink still in the blender and said it tasted like a vanilla frappe. Then the lady working at the time rudely said, “ I made it right.” It was an unnecessary conversation as if I was going to than be like oh yeah you’re right, let me continue drinking this beverage that does not taste like the drink I ordered. So than after me awkwardly standing at the counter, they made me another Vanilla frappe, and brought it to where I was sitting. The man working put it next to the original drink I had and admitted to it being a different color. Just saying it was not my best experience, and the employees should watch what conversations they have in front of...
Read moreVery disappointing. I ordered a dark roast Columbian brewed coffee. They served me a lukewarm cup of cinnamon flavored coffee that was not even close to fresh. The server seemed offended when I asked for hot, fresher coffee that doesn't have cinnamon added. She tried to tell me that's what Columbian coffee tastes like. (No, It doesn't) She replaced it with a fruity cup of lukewarm coffee, not fresh, and tried to tell me it was from a different pot of Columbian. She lied to me. It was not dark roast Columbian and was not fresh or hot. She did try to reheat it using steam from the frother before serving it to me so she knew it was old coffee.... (I drink a lot of coffee and even roast my own beans so I'm no amateur) I should have asked for a refund but I just gave up and drank the lousy coffee but won't come back to this place. On a positive note, the pastry I...
