Good Stock — Local services in Kennebunk

We were so excited to get daughter/mother/grandmother matching permanent bracelets! After waiting in line for over an hour I overheard the owner say bracelets for 13 and older. It would have been most helpful to have this detail posted somewhere. I respect business and business owner’s policies but was shocked at the attitude I received from the owner (she made sure I knew she was the owner!) after asking why this was her policy. First it was because kids under 13 are in activities. I didn’t get the point and she explained they break and then return and expect to be fixed. Then it turned into an insurance thing. Whatever the case, post it somewhere either online or in-store, and save people the hassle! We hoped this would be a fun highlight of our vacay. Stuff happens, policies happen, however the way you present them-both in writing and verbally to a customer go a long way. I wouldn’t even have minded the long wait, but now I say save yourself the annoyance because it’s poorly organized and the quality seemed...

My partner and I visited Good Stock Maine on 8/27 while vacationing nearby. We came excited for the Charm Bar experience, only to find that the website directed customers to park “20 minutes away.” In reality, there’s a parking lot directly outside the door—clearly closer and more convenient. That left us feeling confused and frustrated before we even walked in.

To make things worse, the business was closed for “personal reasons,” even though staff members next door acknowledged other people could have had permanent jewelry services that day. It felt abrupt and poorly communicated, especially for a business that didn’t seem to have posted any real-time updates online or on-site.

I understand unexpected closures happen, but the combination of misleading parking guidance and lack of clear communication makes for a disappointing customer experience. I hope Good Stock Maine considers updating their website and signage and perhaps offering clearer real-time closure notices to avoid inconveniencing...

So many incredible things to say about Good Stock Maine! First off, Mia the owner is a firecracker with the biggest heart. Her staff mirrors her leadership. Certainly service with a smile! They love to see their clients happy! Second off, the interactive experience is so fun! Not only is the store so visually stimulating with the cute disco balls and pops of pink everywhere, its so fun to be able to pick and match your charms on whatever chain you so please. This is a great place to go for affordable charm bracelets with friends that don't break the bank! It is also located in this cute little village with other adorable stores so even though there is a wait to get in, its worth it because there is so much to do in such a fun packed little space.
