I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this store made me and other customers waste our time, the owner has a lot of amazing comics/toys/figures, we had our eyes on figures we wanted but then we asked how much the owner proceeded to say that they’re not for sale, and then we liked another band figure that’s behind the glass and we asked how much for it that he also said it’s not for sale and he can’t let it go? I found a car toy I’ve been searching for and then he saw me grab it and laughed and said it’s not for sale sorry about that. It just made me furious and wasting my own time, he even had other toys/collectable that are not for sale scattered everywhere in the store. Why have your own collection scattered all over the store? Why can’t you leave them at home or somewhere that won’t waste people’s time because a bunch of customers left the store when they were told they were not for sale, I was ready to pay a figure that was actually for sale and then he proceeded to say the price is old it would’ve been higher today and then charged me $30 for a figure when the price says $24 and I saw him looking on his tablet I’m not sure if he’s searching prices on eBay? Or what? But that made me even more furious but then he accepted 6 dollars less cuz he can’t let go of his collection. Shop wasn't open when I arrived at noon even though the shop was only going to be open for 3 hours that day. Store owner had a great selection of comic books but it was obvious he wasn't looking to sell any of the books as quite a few I asked about he said weren't for sale or the prices he quoted were through the roof. He then proceeded to show a bunch of pictures about his personal collection. I asked if any were for sale and he said no. Had a great visit today with Dr Steven Kahn at his comic and toy store - Inner Child Comics and Collectibles - in Kenosha, WI . I have been in many a comic and toy store over my lifetime but can honestly say his store is in a class all by itself. Immense collection of toys and comics - many unique toys I have never seen before. Steven was very gracious giving me all the time I asked for to meet, visit and discuss our beloved hobby.
