This historic theatre is so lovely! Attended the Beauty and the Beast show and was blown away. Tip: bring a sweater because it can be a bit chilly inside. Concessions are available. Accessible restrooms.

Great events, beautiful historic building. Loved the Agatha Christie play and actors. It is great to have a snack bar with wine and treats

Went here to see Santa. Very pretty building. Also saw a Christmas Carol but as if it were by Dr.Seuss.

Horrible communication They kept on Offering other venues when I was interesting about renting. Took them a week to tell me that it wasn’t available. I was told to come to the theater because how amazing it was and got a horrible experience so I gave them A bad review on Facebook I wasn’t disrespectful. I didn’t cuss. It’s still there. You can go find it under my name. and then they blocked me. And messaged me on Facebook that I will never be able to rent from them again in the future. I will be calling the village and I will be calling the mayor that is against the law. You can’t rent The theater to the public, but not rent the theater to someone who basically shared there review on Facebook, sharing their experience, even if you disagree. You can’t just allow only people post good things about your business then block and delete all the people who are sharing about their bad experience. That’s a scam. It’s against the law and I will be calling the mayor. It’s so sad that a beautiful venue like this is being wasted by people who can’t take a simple business advice. When I call them out on message, they became instantly defensive. I’m sorry, but the customer is always. Their excuse was that The fear was ran by only volunteers and it was a volunteer lead organization. Well, guess what? I got a newsflash most of the theaters that I rent for my tours and events. and pretty much 90% of the theaters across the United States are all volunteer lead organizations. But some reason everyone else is more welcoming, not hard to get a hold of, and are excited to have newer guests to their venue. And aren’t quick to point them in the other direction. I was so excited from hearing several good things about this venue and then seeing pictures online and then got shady customer service basically. There’s a problem here someone better fix it. Cause I have several clients in the area and this venue is perfect The people not so much easy fix. Especially if you’re breaking the law. I have a right to share my review and as a customer, I’m allowed to call out things I don’t like. That does not make me a threat. I’m telling you Things that you could change I’m not going to force you, but I’m going to at least Share that idea because I see a place that has potential and I want you to do an event here. Now you’re gonna block me and tell me that I can’t rent from you because I basically shared a bad review. Sounds like new people need to be at that...

This quaint little theater is located in the heart of downtown Kenosha close to Wolfenbuttel park and the lake. I went to see a local production of Rent a couple of weeks ago. Like I said, the theater is small and doesn't really seem to have designated parking but there is plenty of free parking on the street very near to it. The bathrooms were clean but, as always, there is always a need for a second women's restroom. There are several little restaurants near it to grab a bite to eat before or afterwards and it seems like a safe neighborhood to walk around at night. I would say though that you shouldn't go expecting the same feel of going to a theater like those in downtown Chicago or even Milwaukee. Those have money and are kept up pretty well. This theater definitely shows its age and isn't the most comfortable. The seats are very low to the ground, don't have much spacing between them (for your knees), and are very touchy (they aren't stationary and move in a gliding motion back and forth). It's also first come, first serve seating so come early to any show you attend. They do have a small concession stand and while they have a balcony it seemed to be closed for seating. Still, if you're just looking to watch a show for a cheap price, this is definitely a good place...

I’d give 10 stars if I could. What a great time we had. The prices were reasonable and the people where so nice. Free parking also. I recently moved to Kenosha 2 years ago and this was my first show Ive seen at this theater. The theater has history and has been restored beautifully . The actors gave an outstanding performance !! I was so moved by the performance we plan on returning again soon. We attended miracle on 34th st. We were not dissapointed. What a...
