I went to the dollar general in this small plaza and it was a decent shopping trip. Outside of the whole place isn't very clean, and there is stuff everywhere outside. But the inside of the store was fine. Just a few spots like the kids area and especially the clearance needed some tlc. Aging shopping area that has been losing occupancy for quite some time with commensurate loss of infrastructure and amenities. The resulting lack in maintenance compounds the declining nature of the area. It it wasn't for a limited number of eating establishments, it would have an abandoned feel.
