I just ordered from this restaurant, through doordash. Since dd never showed up, I gave the restaurant the benefit of doubt and offered to come pick it up.
Instead, I got "hello, hello...your name..." and hung up on.
I called back 6 times. SIX TIMES!!! Me: please, I just want to know if I can come pick up my food.
Hung up on. Again and again.
This place must have a plethora of customers and doesnt need any more.
Btw, we (being mid 30s, professional, no children) eat out 3-5 times a week. We give the Phoenix restaurant the majority of our business, as it's close and always answer their phone.
Look, we're not looking for special treatment, nor did we want to hold this restaurant accountable for the incompetence of doordash. Therefore, we've gone the EXTRA mile to try and just get some food from a restaurant we were hoping to try out.
