What a combination! An ice cream parlor and a chicken palace, complete with a drive through, Mexican style. The menu is printed with sweet delectables on one side and popular Mexican dishes on the other. Let's start with the frozen goodies and other desserts. It is all freshly assembled with south of the border flavors in copious quantities to satisfy your sweet tooth with familiar and a few not so familiar dishes. Try their paletas, nieves or mangonadas for a change. Some uniquely South American, yet popular. The Chicken Palace side of the kitchen puts out wonderful dishes with authentic flavors with obvious emphasis on chicken. They also accept bulk orders for your parties or large gatherings at a reasonable cost. All these offerings are enhanced with a phenomenal salsa bar. Consistent take out business, too. Place is legit Idk, i guess a lot of Caucasian people had a bad time? lmao but as a Mexican-American, food is BOMB AF. and hella legit. Its one of very few mexican restaurant in kenosha that actually tastes real. Things like Qdoba and other places dont taste authentic at all and its really disappointing.But this tastes like everything i grew up with. Not to mention that the la michoacana is awesome👌 . Ive always had good service here, food has always been great. Reminds of the food back from the regions of Mexico my family is from. Stopped in after a long 10 hour shift on a Sunday evening. I usually go through the drive through but the wait was long. So I went inside. Where the front counter girl was instantly rude. Eyed me up and down, and rolled her eyes at me! Like....WOW! Ok!. Said hi to who I assumed was the owner, who didn't even acknowledge the greeting and began speaking Spanish to someone who walked in behind me. Food is good, but their customer service Sucks. Made me feel like I was not welcome or wanted just because I wasn't Hispanic. Not a good look in these times. If you are in the restaurant business, expect to get Non Hispanic patrons, and treat everyone with respect. Plain and simple. Sadly won't be going back, just for those reasons alone.
