Kent Community House — Local services in Kent

We love this place!!! It is do affordable and the space is huge. When you walk in theres a desk/coat room to the left which we used as a box office. To the immediate right is a handicap bathroom. Downstairs there's a men's and ladies room with 2 stalls each. Next in the basement theres a HUGE KITCHEN , LIKE industrial size that we didn't even need. You keep walking and there's an exit to the parking lot. Upstairs there's a huge open space with beautiful wooden floors. And the best is the stage. There's curtains and everything. Also you can access the stage without walking through main area and simple going down underneath. I believe this rental comes with tables and chairs. We only use chairs. All cleaning supplies seemed to be provided. Very good location on rt7. Not too far for Kent...

The first 5 times I had ever been here was for the Lions Club Red Cross Blood Donation drives. So I really had no idea how magical it could be when decked out for various parties. I have now been for a few luncheons, multiple party events, lecture series, and kids craft party. I'm glad it is being used more and I would consider hosting an event here if the need arose. Absolutely loved this venue! It was beautiful. It was spacious and I would recommend anyone who wants a space to go here. I would just say that the staircase to the bathroom downstairs, could be a little more aesthetically appealing lol. It was kind of scary like downstairs.
