Our family of 6 includes kids ages 5, 7, 9, and 11. It's not easy to find a capt who can handle these types of guests. I called literally 25 different charter boat operators. None was a good fit. Families seem to be an afterthought for most charter boats who tend to focus on adult fishing trips.

Fortunately Jeff's morning group agreed to start earlier opening up the afternoon for us. It's also worth noting the price is substantially less than similar adventures.

Jeff was very accommodating. He put together a three hour excursion to snorkeling then the sand bar off of Key Largo. It was a 20 min ride out to the site which was very manageable with the kids. Once at the reef, Jeff watched our 5 year old who bailed on the snorkeling early while my wife and I stayed in the water with the kids.

Jeff took a ton of pictures along the way. He pulled out drinks and towels. He handled fins and masks. He was so good with our kids. He even filled up a huge tube for them to play on at the sandbar.

This was the best experience ever for a family like ours. I can't recommend Jeff and his charter service...

Sooooo great! Just a phenomenal tour. My wife and I took the 1.5 hour kayak tour around the mangroves, and Jeff's tour was outstanding. Big highlight on our trip to the Keys. We really wanted to snorkel the reef, but winds prevented, so we tried this instead. Amazing! Jeff provided everything, and guided us through the maze of mangrove forest to see the most amazing bits of sea life, and all the while gave us fascinating insights into the creatures and the ecology of the place. Jellies, corals, colorful sponges, barracuda, and so many cool species I've never even heard of (all totally safe!). The mangroves protected us from the wind, and the waters were just beautiful. I had considered just renting kayaks, but the guide made ALL the difference. I would have missed all the coolest stuff under the waters, and gotten totally lost!
