Despite the listings across both the Tesla and Ford apps as "adapter welcome," after trying all stations, three times on separate occasions while here, each threw a charge fault (after tries with Plug and Charge, Ford App, Ford in-vehicle Charge Assist, AND the Tesla app WITH full membership) and none would allow the Tesla adapter to charge our Lightning as contracted. This can be a minor inconvenience to some, but for many the only available fast charging at all, is the Avon Pier area, and the Duck-Through charge facility in Columbia NC, both, many miles away. We were a bit agitated when we finally found this location because the GPS in the car had us driving all over the area, missing the parking lot it’s actually in. There was a previous reviewer that said there is a grocery store across the street? Well it’s in the parking lot. We didn’t see any place to walk to for food other than the grocery store and the Starbucks that is...
